Superb property, neighborhood and host!
Publié le 25 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayFrom check-in to check-out, the host responds almost immediately to answer questions and in rare cases provide assistance (via text or in person). The house was immaculate and online pictures are exactly what you get. A beautiful, clean home with lots of things for the kids to do!
If I come to Colorado with 13 folks again, I will DEFINITELY rent this home again!
NOTE: Come prepared fore everyone take their shoes off every time you enter. It's in the instructions/overview. ;-)

Beautiful home in a great location

We loved the perfectly outfitted kitchen, with lots of great dishes, glasses, serving dishes, and everything needed for a family holiday weekend. My granddaughters LOVE the back yard and the wonderful dress up clothes and toy room(s).
Things have changed a bit since our last stay, including Fort Collins rules for vacation rentals, and the crazy taxes and fees from both VRBO and the city. I wasn’t prepared for the difference in the nightly rate annd the bottom line. Our landlady Diana was still lovely and welcoming, and we had a wonderful time. We love Fort Collins and we love this home.

Best rental ever!

We are in-between homes this year for Christmas and needed a place to accommodate family flying in to celebrate with us. The host decorated everything including a beautiful Christmas tree! The sign when you walk in says something about people entering the home as guests and leaving as friends. Even though we never really interacted with the hosts, we felt so cared for and the home was so accommodating we felt as if we became friends with the hosts. The property is perfect for families, so many sleeping options, cribs, games, etc. Amazing for kids! The kitchen is VERY well stocked and feels like you are cooking in a friends kitchen and not a rental.
The only thing to mention that was different from the description is that the "girls" room no longer has a daybed with trundle that can create a king size bed, as mentioned in the listing. It is now a full size bed with an extra twin mattress underneath, but it isn't a trundle that pops up. We made it work, but just letting others know it is slightly different from the description.
Overall, this far exceeded our expectations and was the best stocked, nicest decorated home we have ever rented. Thank you to the hosts for helping create amazing memories for our family this Christmas.

Wedding Getaway

We had our family and wedding party travel with us for our destination wedding and it was a beautiful stay! The cookies that welcomed us were such a big hit with the family and the fresh garden was so nice!

Perfect Place for Family Time + Exploring Area
Publié le 13 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThis home was perfect for our week-long stay with our adult kids/spouses (9 adults total) plus 4 grandkids under age 4. We had plenty of room to gather together as well as for each of us to have our own space. The kids LOVED all the toys and backyard activities. The location was perfect for us to explore the awesome natural beauty of the area, including Poudre & Horsetooth areas, and, of course, Rocky Mountain National Park. After long days out, it was great to come "home" to this place. We did a lot of cooking and found the kitchen to be well-stocked with everything we needed. We appreciated that there were board games and a basement perfect for family game nights, but we were too exhausted after exploring to take advantage of them! Diana was a gracious host, quick to answer any questions. She has created a lovely, welcoming space, and we are grateful for our family time together in this special home.
