Mary, you and your friend were so fun to have met! I will always remember you and the smiles on your faces seeing our place for the first time here on Lake Huron and now knowing you thought I was "very nice." This is a great review to wrap up our summer season, thanks - Diana

Left Early
Publié le 2 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayStayed less than 24 hours. Booked for 3 nights. Damp and musty. A dehumidifier is desperately needed to reduce humidity and smell within the space. I stayed here in 2022 and the smell and dampness has only gotten worse. Host has not updated the refrigerator, and still offers college dorm sized fridge for adults. Barn door separating the two spaces does not provide any private conversations. Canceled future stay.

"Just what I needed! Nice place. Great location. Just far enough from home to feel like a getaway." This is what you wrote last time, Dina and yet you still spent the night this time. We had a few conversations prior to this stay and asked about the fridge. I expressed it was the same one and it fits VRBO standards. You knew exactly what to expect from your last stay and you choose to come again booking two separate getaways at our place this season. Everything is in our description with pictures on our site. We have had an extreme amount of rain this season which has created a great amount of moisture. I can't apologize for mother nature. We do have a new powerful AC unit and the fan function would of helped. Bottom line.. you knew what to expect and YOU DID! I feel your complaints are your own mistakes, take care!

Great Beach
Publié le 10 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayNice partial section of main house. I rented both the house and suite, which did feel more private. A door wall allowed the quiet part of the family to be separate from the side with children.

Comfortable stay
Publié le 11 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThe suite we rented was clean and comfortable. Cozy bed. We enjoyed exploring the area and were lucky enough to stumble on a fine art fair in Lexington. We enjoyed our time there. Of course the lake was beautiful.

One night on Lake Huron
Publié le 19 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayIt's hard to find a place to stay for just one night (especially one that accommodates pets!), but this was perfect for a short trip to pick up one of our kids that was at a local camp. Beds were comfortable and it was nice having a private sandy beach, which is hard to find on Lake Huron. We had a lovely trip!
