No surprises

Cons: floors really need a deep clean; not all windows had curtains or shades-neighbors light shines right in the kitchen and master bath; double bedroom hears the traffic at night; Nest thermostat was a pain to deal with, but we figured it out.
Pros: Hosts are incredibly responsive and friendly; home is very spacious and lovely decor; back yard and pool were clean and private; pool and beach gear and towels provided; toiletries provided; very clean linens; kitchen is well stocked for cooking; high capacity washer/dryer was nice; location is near several food options and a short drive to the beach. Publix and Walmart are less than 5 minutes away.

Dear Suzanne, it’s great to hear that you enjoyed your stay! I would like to say we do pay close attention to the cleanliness of our floors, yet at times, it is difficult to ensure they are maintained clean when our guests are by the pool area throughout the day, and going in and out of the living area barefooted or in wet flip-flops. We wanted to add that we are so sorry; we were never aware of the neighboring light shining to our kitchen or master bath. Our master bath does have a frosted glass for privacy, and at the front of our smaller kitchen window, we have a few bushes for total privacy. Our house is located in a quiet and family-oriented neighborhood, so we don't have any cars flowing throughout our streets, although unfortunately we can’t always control what our neighbors are doing or what time they are coming home.
As you mentioned in your 5 star review, we are incredibly responsive, so we are surprised that you never let us know that you had some issues with the nest thermostat; if you would let us know we would come by in a few minutes to show you how to use it! Furthermore, we are happy you enjoyed your stay and hope you will be back sometime soon!

Lovely Property in a Great Location

Clean home and great location
Publié le 29 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur family of 6 really enjoyed our stay at Marina & Igor's property. The house was clean and we loved how each of the rooms opened up to the gorgeous pool. Even though it was cool a few of the days, the kids really enjoyed the warm pool and watching the outdoor TV. Great space, would definitely stay here again.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience

Igor came as soon as we needed him and showed us how to use some of the electronics. The pool was a delight. The house wraps around pool with five accesses to the pool area (from both bedrooms with the king size beds, from the kitchen, from the living room and even from one of the bathrooms, so we didn't have to traipse thru the house with wet bathing suits.) The weather was a little cooler than expected, so having a heated pool made it possible to enjoy it even in the cool weather. Having both sunny areas as well as shaded areas around the pool deck, made it great for all of us to enjoy as per our preference. It was nice to have a sitting area outside, with comfortable chairs and sofas, as well as a table for eating al fresco. The kitchen was well equipped; the showers were large and very modern. The bedrooms were perfect and there were lots of places to store our stuff. We didn't need to use the third bedroom, but it was convenient with the two beds when we were packing up to come home. All told it was a great stay!

In the beginning of our stay, we had decent weather, but the remainder of the week the weather was quite windy and constantly raining which changed our excursion plans. What a joy it was to have this property to retreat to and relax. It was so tastefully decorated, clean, and well-stocked. Most of all, we were still able to get into the beautiful heated pool. The outdoor space is so dreamy. With the covered patio, we could sit outside even in the heavy rain. The lanai covering the pool kept the bugs and especially the mosquitoes away. They have taken steps to make it completely private from the neighbors and the street. We set outside for hours watching the outdoor tv, reading, eating, etc. even as it poured down raining. The home is just one half mile from the grocery store and shopping. We highly recommend this home to others.
