The hotel is old, but it has obviously been maintained well throughout the years. The location is awesome, you are right on Las Olas and close to everything in downtown Fort Lauderdale. While you are close to everything, it is quiet inside.

Great location and overall nice setup with dining facilities on site and all around the neighborhood. Some public areas border on being dated but are well kept. The micro room was generally nice but lacked any place to hang up even a single item and half the electrical plugs didn’t work, while the internet was so slow we had to use cellular data much of the time. Still, overall okay considering the price point for the area.

Value for the money is a fail... But, you are in an area that can (and will) bilk the customer. I only chose your hotel because the group I was with had made the reservations and they can afford to be bilked without affecting them. Bidenomics has caused more issues at my house.

This is a great historic hotel in a really cool upscale part of Ft Lauderdale! The hotel is located next to the New River and depending on your room has great views of the boat traffic going in and out. Safe area with super well kept clean rooms!

We have stayed at the Riverside 4 or 5 times. It is now our go-to stay for pre & post cruising out of Port Everglades. • This cool, clean, excellently-staffed grand hotel is the perfect mix of classic hospitality and chic vibe. The surrounding area has a cosmopolitan blend of shops, restaurants, art and jewelry stores. The hotel's bordering on the Riverwalk is a gift: Yachts and boats of all sizes are an ongoing parade, as are the interesting people who enjoy its waterfront stroll. Looking for something TOTALLY different from the chain hotels? The Riverside is worth the stay.

A lovely hotel with a great location. Just keep in mind it is an older hotel so the rooms in the older section are smaller. I would stay there again as the location can’t be beat.
