We're sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay, but are very surprised by your review. We have never before had complaints about the furniture or condo. Recent reviews just before and after you have all stated how wonderful the condo was. Many of the furnishings were replaced recently after the hurricanes that came through our area, and has been to the liking of our recent guests. If you had concerns about doors or the missing tub drain plug, you could have reached out during your stay and we would have been happy to be of assistance. While things may have not been to your personal liking or preference, it does not mean they are outdated or in bad condition. We wish you all the best in your future travels.

We have come a long way and there are many restaurants and businesses back open, but the area was heavily impacted from the storm two years ago. We hope you won't find our response harsh either but it's the truth and accurate. We are disappointed to receive your review and feedback about the condo. The housekeepers work very hard to clean the unit well at every turn. It's additionally disappointing to have not heard this feedback from you upon your arrival or during your stay so we could happily have had housekeeping address any legitimate cleaning issues instead of alleging cleaning issues after you've checked out. The VRBO guest review right before your arrival posted the following: 10/10 Excellent-Perfect Perfect weekend getaway! Loved the location, it was not crowded and the room was super clean! We regret to hear there was an issue with a toilet flushing. Sometimes the chain between the flushing handle & the rubber flush flapper gets tangled and the flapper doesn't lift for the toilet to flush. We're happy to hear the maintenance person was able to make the repair and we appreciate you making us aware so we could get it repaired for you. We don't know what "ghost flushing" means but we would have been happy to have the maintenance vendor revisit during your stay if you would have informed us at that time. We've not had any reports from other guests since your stay reporting such a thing and our manager has personally flushed and checked the toilet since the repair and your stay and didn't encounter any issues with it. The furniture and appliances are not new but they were not purchased from the local Goodwill and your disparaging comment is not appreciated. The listing photos are current, and were taken by a professional photographer as recent as April of this year and depict the furnishings and appliances as they were when you choose to book the unit and during your stay. The appliances & furnishings are all currently in good condition and function properly for their intended use and purposes. If you wanted to stay in a unit that has more modern furnishings and appliances and for more money, you could have selected another unit that pictured those items accordingly. It's disappointing to us and our property owner for you to have selected the unit which is accurately depicted with professional photography and priced accordingly so you and others can enjoy it, the direct beach access & views and then make disparaging remarks about it.
