Overall not bad
Publié le 25 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWhen we arrived the front mini blinds were missing 75%of the shades, so no privacy. And the front screen door needs replaced, does not latch and continued to bang all night with the wind. The screen door cut the top of my foot the first night.Did reach out to owner and the blinds were replaced with curtains the next morning. Nothing was done with the door. Some floor tiles were coming up from the floor. Toaster caused the smoke alarm to go off when used. Place was clean and very convenient to the beach. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans.

Thank you for your response Wendy. We greatly appreciate your feedback. Please know the door was secured and has since been replaced along with the tiles secured. We tested the toaster and had no issues. We take pride in ensuring our guests have a seamless stay and this comes as a surprise to us. Unfortunately, Hurricanes Helene and Milton have posed setbacks to the area and everyone is working tirelessly to get back to normalcy. We thank you again for your response and hope you otherwise had a wonderful stay.

This review is written to damage our company as the guest was upset we charged her security deposit for soiling the mattress with bodily fluids, primarily urine. The mattress had to be replaced. She clearly had no regard for other's property. Additionally, she tried to extort a refund for the damaged washer and dryer from hurricane Milton, but they were replaced the day of her check in. She had a working washer and dryer during her stay so there was no valid reason for a refund. The city water work was completed on the day of check in as well and we also delivered a new grill for her benefit. We strive for 5 star reviews and get hundreds of them. We will do all we can for good quality guests to have a great experience. This type of vindictive guest ruins the legitimacy of reviews and is not welcome back. Good riddance.

Very disappointing stay
Publié le 2 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWhen we arrived there was garbage in the driveway that no one ever removed before the hurricane. This was a vehicle seat along with other junk.
The pictures online were old photos the pictures online did not reflect the actual home.
No one checked on the property after the hurricane. The washer and dryer were not working along with the wind destroyed the screen. There were ants and traps but the ant traps were filled.

Your stay was impacted by a hurricane that caused some minor issues and significant flooding on the island. Unfortunately, the flooding brought minor debris into the yard and interrupted garbage service for the island. Contrary to your review, we inspected this property after the hurricane, cleaned up the trash, and scheduled the clean up and screen repair asap as we had other lower level units with 3-4 feet of water in them that required our immediate attention. The flooding did ruin the washer and dryer as they are on ground level, but were replaced as quickly as possible. Again you are wrong on the photos as they are accurate and represent the property. Bugs are everywhere in Florida and the property is professionally treated with pest control. As an additional measure, we added ant traps that were working properly, collecting the small sugar ants when present. Flooding also cause pest to climb to areas that they normally are not found. Once again your review misleads any reader and your lack of grace for a island hit by multiple hurricanes and one during your stay, frankly is obscene. Please do not book with us again.

Get away weekend
Publié le 19 août 2024 sur HomeAwayNo complaints about property itself, it was good for that price. The issue that we had was quickly resolved by management. Kids were not happy with the beach quality, but there are better options available with an hour driving.

Fabulous Florida
