Big home near beach
Large older house a block from the beach. Dated decor with decent beds and nice linens. Neighborhood is a mix of older fixed up homes and some a bit run down . I was told the nieborhood is known as sufer ghetto . The heater was out in the home and owner was quick to get fixed the same day we reported.We had someone show up before check out unannounced to do some addtional work.House needs updating much of the furniture is scratched up and older..Overall we had a nice stay. 3 star imo.

Beach Thanksgiving
This beach house is fantastic! Just a short walk from a stunning beach, it offers a clean, spacious layout with a well-stocked kitchen that makes cooking a breeze. The house comes with plenty of beach chairs and toys for endless fun, plus a huge grill for outdoor cooking. Perfect for a fun, relaxing stay with family or friends!

It was a total R & R relaxation trip surrounded by nature
The overall house was beautiful. There were some issues and David, the host, was so nice, helpful and attentive. He got the maintenance man, Max, out immediately to rectify them. Max was also great, very nice and efficient. For a family of 8, we couldn’t get the ice maker to work which was no biggie. We bought ice bags from Publix when we picked up food. There weren’t enough lounge chairs around the pool for 8 people (only 4 lounge chairs) and 3 out of the 5 bikes had flats or the chains were rusted. The master bedroom upstairs did not have a king size bed. It was more like a double bed and it didn’t have a smart TV in that room. The pool itself was great as well as the BBQ. It was also nice having an outside bathroom by the pool. The walk to the beach was fun and it was very private. Overall we loved our stay and our family had a great time. It was a great R & R trip and would highly recommend it.

Hidden Gem
This marvelous house is huge! My family and I were more than comfortable. Each one had their own bedroom. My girls enjoyed having their own private jack and Jill bathroom. My little ones loved swimming in the pool. I personally enjoyed going to the beach (~3mi walk ). The water was warm and gorgeous and just a few people around enjoying the beach as well. I loved seeing the gopher tortoise walking around the mangrove. We were able to stay two extra days!!!! We were so grateful with David! I hope to come back here again.

Very large home, plenty of room for everyone. Pool was terrific. The location is the best, just steps to the beautiful beach and Ft. Pierce Inlet State Park.. Quiet area, not "touristy". Two sets of washer/dryers was a great bonus. Would love to stay there again.

Fanily beach vacation
The previous year we had an awesome stay at this property and everyone agreed to return due to the location, the pool and the property accommodation. This year we ran into an issue with the property not being ready for checkin. the owner was very responsive in responding right away and accommodating us to ensure we were able to have the same experience as our last stay. My kids and grandkids once again enjoyed and look forward to returning again.

Beautiful home
My family really enjoyed this beautiful home. It was incredibly helpful for us to find a home that had a pool, and was close to the beach, that provided a beach cart, beach towels, sand toys, and chairs. We opted to have an Aldi grocery order delivered the afternoon we arrived, then we were able to get the rest of what we needed at Publix (only a couple miles away) or Walmart (about 20 mins away). The home was very clean and beds were comfortable (and I’m picky)! Our only true issue was that we were eaten alive by the no see ums. Upwards of 40 bites on each of my four children, which made for a pretty uncomfortable week for them. So my only constructive criticism would be that they invest in an enclosure (with a tight enough screen grid) over the pool to keep the bugs out. We would love to return here!

Wonderful location and home for family reunion
We traveled from Tennessee with our family to visit our daughter and husband who live in Port St Lucie. The house is large enough to give everyone space and allow for kids to nap without anyone waking them. The walk to beach was very easy and the owner had everything we needed to enjoy the beach as well as the pool. The grandkids brought scooters and we walked the neighborhood several days so they could play. Everyone we met was so nice! The kitchen is well stocked to prepare food there, and Publix was only 7 minutes away. The owner was very quick to respond when we had a need which was appreciated. The lawn was mowed while we were there and someone came mid-week to clean the pool. The home amenities and close proximity to the beach really helped to make this a wonderful vacation. So happy I found this one!

This house is amazing! The pool is really big and so much fun to swim in! Beautiful house, huge master bedroom and bathroom!! Had lots of beach/pool toys to use and even corn hole. Would definately stay here again!

Perfect family vacation home
The house was beautiful, clean and spacious! There are enough bedrooms to accommodate an extended family- grown children and grandkids, allowing private space with open living areas for gathering. A short walk to the beach entry, but be ready for a trek on the dune path. This section of the beach is fairly private, not nearly as crowded as the section further north. The house is equipped with everything you need for the beach and pool, including lots of beach towels. Check in and check out were simple and fast.

Tamarind House on Hutchinson Island
We had an amazing stay. The property was as advertised. The beach is a beautiful 5 minute walk on a path lined with vegetation. The owner had everything you need for a great time at the beach. The pool was amazing as well; very large and 9 foot deep in the deep end. House was clean with plenty of room for the family to spread out. Street is quiet with virtually no traffic. We will definitely be going back.

The Sweet Spot
This was the second time I have stayed at the beautiful Tamarind home. It was just as perfect as my first stay. When I come back to the area, I will be looking to stay here again. It is the perfect escape from my wild reality.

Great house close to beach
We had a great time in our Spring Break trip with two families (4 adults plus three teenagers). House is in a quiet neighborhood and was large enough to easily accommodate all of us. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and the garage had everything you will need for a trip to the beach. The beach is only a few minutes away and was practically empty during our entire stay. Great place to stay. Highly recommend.

Wonderful week at the Tamarind House
We had a wonderful stay at the Tamarind house. This is the cleanest house rental I have ever stayed at. Bedding is all white and clearly bleached between rentals, which is a big plus for me. House is spacious and bedroom set up is nice. The beach access path was much closer than I expected and the beach was beautiful and never crowded during our stay in mid-March. We traveled with a toddler so I was happy to see there was a pack n play and sand toys at the house.

Our stay was the relaxation we were looking for in our trip. We were in the heated pool even when the temperature outside dropped to 60 degrees. The house was huge and easily accommodated all of us. We look forward to coming back again in the near future.

Great stay!
The house was beautiful and just as listed. We enjoyed that the beach was just a short walk away. The house had almost every amenity we needed—towels, shampoo/conditioner, dish soap, hand soap, etc. There was lots of space in the home for our entire family. The beds were comfortable and each room included a fan. I’d highly recommend this home. My whole family ended up getting bitten by no see ums on this trip. If we visit this area again, i will definitely bring some preventative things like bug spray and tea tree oil, as well as anti-itch cream options so we are more prepared.
