Old Fisherman

Our group of old fishermen stayed at the Main Lodge for six nights and were all impressed with the facility in terms of space, kitchen and dining area, and the sitting area. Everything we needed for cooking we were able to find or find a substitute. Beds, linens and towels were great too. The fact that there was only one shower didn’t cause us any issues as we have been fishing together and staying at other places for 15+ yrs. We met Jade at the end of the trip and enjoyed hearing the story behind the facility. We booked our fall trip before we left and will be back in 2025.

Nice cabin in a great location

The cabin was real cool and had everything we needed throughout our stay. We could have brought about 15 more people and it would still have been comfortable.

Great, except listing was inaccurate

It was a nice property, lots of space. The unfortunate situation was it was advertised as 3 Full Bathrooms and after arrival found there was only 1 Full Bath and 2 half baths, so only 1 shower for everyone. This was unfortunate as we had a mixed group of men/women and were expecting what was advertised. Had to make it work and communicated inaccuracy to owner and they promptly fixed the listing to help future renters which was good to see. The owner did not compensate us in any way for their inaccurate information, which was also unfortunate. Just important to have an accurate listing.

Thank you for your review Kay. Definitely an oversight on our end for having the listing show 3 full bathrooms, this was changed immediately. If your group returns we would be happy to compensate something for your inconvenience.
