This hotel is completely under construction, I would not recommend especially if you have children. However once we made our way to the room it was clean & spacious. Don’t expect a continental breakfast there is only cereal on premises. However, if you go to their other hotel chain you’re able to have breakfast.The hotel clerk was helpful & kind.

We stayed at this hotel before and found it clean and pleasant. The rooms were roomy. The staff was friendly. The property was apparently sold and is being renovated. Our room was nicely done and clean. The hotel name was changed. Ft Stockton is a very small town so dining is limited.

Being Renovated

I was unaware that the property was undergoing a renovation. Where most of the rooms were being worked on. I was looking forward to using the swimming pool, but it was closed. I was not informed about this renovation before my stay.

Under remodel but still very helpful

What was amazing is I booked a room in the motel that is being completely remodeled. They are staying open as much as possible. When I arrived I found out that the room they had for me was broken but they had reserved a room for me at the Comfort Inn just down the street!

The hotel was under construction with only a few rooms. We had to go stay at another hotel to accommodate our disabled son. The staff fix the issue but I’m beyond frustrated with the situation.

We actually stayed at the comfort suites partnered site as this property was closed for renovations. The staff at both properties were friendly and communicative.

Hotel Was Under Construction and Locked Up

I booked the room then arrived a short time later to find that the hotel was under construction with the front parking lot totally removed with a sign on the door that said: DO NOT COME IN. Please Use Back Door. After navigating around construction equipment and materials everywhere I made it to the back door only to find it locked. I was NOT able to gain access to the building. So I call several times to Hotel.com to cancel the reservation and stayed on hold for quite some time only to be hung up on.

The front desk staff was nice. They should have advertised they were under complete renovations though. We pulled up & it looked like the property was closed....no cars seen anywhere from the front. The front parking lot was completely torn up, walls in dining area stripped to drywall, every room we walked past on the 1st floor was open & in process of renovation. One small hallway of rooms were completed. We didn't arrive until 10:30pm, so construction had stopped for the night. Free breakfast options were VERY limited, but under the circumstances, we were surprised they offered anything! We only counted 7 cars in the back parking lot at night when we got back to the hotel. The room was spacious though. It had a kitchenette, couch sitting area, nice bathroom, & king bed. Had we known it was under renovations, we probably would not have stayed here.
