Great vacation here!
Publié le 17 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe location was fantastic! The pools and beach were amazing and just outside the doors - so convenient! My 3 year old granddaughter was with us and it couldn't have been more perfect. Finding a condo with 2 king suites is so hard. The condo had everything we needed. A few things could be upgraded. YES, the beds are really creaky, but comfy. The outdoor furniture could be upgraded but we could see great from the patio, and the beach chairs are old and heavy, so we just didn't use them. The communication with the owner and the housekeeper was THE BEST! My brother and his wife joined us for 2 days and they provided 2 extra arms bands VERY quickly. I would definitely stay here again!

Overall OK
Publié le 26 août 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall the condo was “fine.” This was our third stay at Waterscape but probably ranked the lowest for us. Overall it was superficially clean, but not deep cleaned. The view was great, location is great. We had a good amount of space for our family. I realize I am a tough critic because I really value cleanliness and I also value things that make it easier for me having young kids.
Good things:
location
view
basic pots and pans
basic spices
washer and dryer
enclosed bunk space
great communication
allowed us early check in which was helpful
things that could be improved:
drain in master bathtub did not work so we could not use that one
-dirty floor/rug in laundry room
-dirty cabinets, esp under sink
- no dish sponge supplied. most rentals provide a new one
- no cleaning supplies supplied. I try to keep the space clean as we go all week and I don’t like buying other people cleaning supplies when I’m really just trying to be a good tenant. I cannot take any of this stuff home given that we air travel
- one roll of TP supplied for a week with 5 people
- one trash bag supplied
- no beach towels. I feel strongly that if you have a beach condo that beach towels should be supplied. For someone traveling by air with a family of 5 I cannot bring beach towels. this was incredibly inconvenient for us.
- really no beach toys other than a bucket and a noodle
- no plastic plates and cups for kids. overall NOT the most fam friendly set up for young kids

Nice property

Communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. 2 elevators were down, which did make for very long waits, but we mostly took the stairs. Close to the Ft. Walton airport, and nearby good food options. The partial ocean view was definitely enough to see some sand and plenty of ocean!
