This hotel looks great at first glance...just don't look too close. I got a regular room with a King size bed and a couch. Nothing special, but it was over $200 with tax.
This hotel needs lots of repairs. I had to go to three separate rooms before I actually got one that was OK. The first one had a terrible sulphur smell. The second one had a door knob that was difficult to open and a HVAC system that was not working. And each time, I had to grab all my stuff again and return to the front desk. The elevators were painfully slow!
In the bar, the service was poor. Yes, there was a steady stream of work to be done, but they weren't slammed by any means, and there were 3 people working. Maybe 25 people total in the room. I waitied 10 minutes to be greeted and I was sitting at the bar. Then I ordered a double shot G&T and was charged $25. I got to my room and tasted it only to find out that it was a gin & soda. :-( ugh
Again, just looking at the hotel, you'd have no idea that it's in such a state of disrepair. If you're thinking about staying there, stay at the hotel next door. It's in much better shape, the rooms are twice the size and was just a much better experience when I stayed there.
I have no plans to ever stay at this property again.

Very noisy from street noise to daily fire work
Would say receptionists are not the most friendly ones I have seen.

our apologies and sorry we do not have any control over street traffic noise and the baseball stadium does shoot off fireworks aft6re some evening games.
