Just Passing Thru
Publié le 4 oct. 2024 sur HotelsQuick overnight stay just passing thru Fort Wayne on our way to Toronto. Family of 5. We chose a double bed suite with sofa/trundle. Room was very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The large walk-in closet would be great for any family going for an extended stay! Bathroom was long and spacious, but does not have a water closet or door to separate the toilet/sink/shower area.
Breakfast was mediocre but would not keep me from staying again. I think the waffle maker was broken, cooking only on one side. Oatmeal needed to be tended to as there was only a small amount left in the bottom of the pot and it was thick and dry. Decaf coffee was ice cold. There were quick service croissant sandwhiches and a packaged soufflé that were not very good. Regular coffee and a toasted bagel was about it. The staff were very friendly.

Paid in full online, refused entry because I didn’t have my credit card on hand. Refused to refund me the money, however Expedias customer service went above and beyond in the late hours of the night to help. Unfortunately, as I didn’t even step foot in a room, I didn’t get my $200 back.

While you did pay online through Expedia for the room and tax charges, your booking through Expedia did not cover the mandatory incidental hold required from every guest that visits our location. We're sorry you did not receive a refund however both our hotel and Expedia have policies they need to uphold. We hope you have a good rest of your day.

This was a delightful stay all around. Clean, modern room with great TV and very comfortable bed; friendly service, guest laundry. Safe upscale area surrounded by medical campuses, dining options nearby.

Easy to get too and clean. Breakfast could be better very limited rated as one of the worst of all Marriott’s I have stayed at.

We always choose this hotel because the area is so nice. It’s also convenient to anything you need close by. We have stayed here several times. We love it.
