Very clean and good value

Great value for the money. Nice breakfast. Very clean. Walk to Walmart. Staff very friendly. There are steps at the front door - assume there is a side door for wheelchairs.

We have been to this hotel several times in the past when it was the Auburn Inn and a lovely hotel. As the years have gone by and owners/managers have changed this hotel has gone downhill. It is worn out and no one seems to care. The past manager Peter Patel just let the place go. It seems the current owners Sure Stay aren't doing much with it either. The sheets and blankets were so old and worn out. I had to ask for another blanket as it was ripped up really bad. I wonder why that would not be thrown out. The window screen was ripped and the draperies on that window were filthy and old. It seems as if this hotel has changed to a construction worker accommodation. They used to have a lovely suite available that now houses a family full time. It was a shame to see how bad this place has gotten. Goodbye old friend. We won't be back.

Sorry to hear of your experience nut we have not the been the Auburn INN in over 6 years. And we have 3 owners since Peter was the owner here. You are right we do accommodate allot of construction workers. we also have linemen, nurses, and doctors. Also the suite hasn't been available as it was turned into and office many years ago. We are sorry to hear you wont be staying with us again

Okay but you get what you pay for.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The toilet had the lowest flush power I've ever experienced and the water control knob for the shower/tub was very loose. I could not plug the sink to shave. The breakfast selection choices were bare minimum. It was the smallest I've seen in over 20 years.

Could be better

Lots of stuff broken like door locks and not that clean. Looks like they’re not spending much on maintenance. Guess you get what you pay for! Can’t imagine how this place got an 8.8 rating? Makes me question Hotels.com ratings
