Great location for exploring the Highlands then catching the night train back to London
Nicola is a very prompt and helpful communicator
Best restaurant by far is Crannog at Garrison West

Wonderful Space & Super Nice Host!

Every little thing from guidebooks, to tea, to juice in the fridge was available to us. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here and communicate with the host. I hope one day in the future we will be back in Fort William to stay here again!

Publié le 24 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayDie sehr schöne und liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung liegt in bester Lage. Die Fußgängerzone und auch der Bahnhof des Jacobite Express sind zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Lovely stay in Fort William
Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property is in a fantastic location; close to shopping, restaurants and less than a 5 minute walk from the train station. It was absolutely spotless with a very comfortable bed. The host provided biscuits, tea and coffee, milk, water and juice. The room was extremely quiet and we had a very good sleep each night. The only slight drawback was that the wifi was a bit spotty. We adjusted the router a few times, but it seemed to just be the way it was. As we had paid for a good data plan, this wasn't a huge issue for us, just something to be aware of. I would recommend this location and would happily stay there again.

Thank you for your comments - after much complaining to our Broadband supplier this season the WiFi has finally improved, fingers crossed it remains consistent going forward.

Thank you for your review. We take on board your comment regarding the WiFi. However, we have always subscribed to the best broadband package available to us as this is our home and we also rely on broadband for work. But, due to our geographical position we have never received the speeds promised to us, no matter how much we complain to the provider. We have boosters positioned within our home to try and improve the supply in various parts of the building which does help, but unfortunately, the fluctuating WiFi appears to be out with our control, but there is generally a sufficient supply to do most things. We hope this didn’t impact too much on your time with us.

Fantastic Place!
Publié le 16 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were so impressed with every aspect of this place. The location was handy from the train, close to all places to walk, shop and eat. Best bed ever. The quality of design and decor was uplifting and beautiful. The friendly touches made breakfast (cereal, milk, tea, coffee, juice) so perfect on a rainy morning. We would love to come back!

The property is near the bus and train terminals and near the main street with restaurants. Easy to do day trips without a car.
Our room was spacious and had a comfortable sitting area.
The property is attached to Nicola and Jim's home but provides full privacy. Nicola invited us into their home to see their art gallery and their home.
We enjoyed having breakfast in our room as we had dishes and cutlery. Hosts provided coffee/tea and some breakfast items.
We enjoyed our stay.
