Short 2-block walk to top side of Stockyards. Rustic & fully remodeled 1920’s, Cowboy themed guest house, w/vaulted & beamed ceilings. 2 BR, 1 bath, +queen sofa futon w/ 8” mattress….(comfortably sleeps up to 6).

Privately situated behind the main house, in a well lit, quiet & secure gated back section of the property. Secured, off-street parking for 2-vehicles

Large farmhouse style covered front porch, as well as private, shaded & peaceful back deck with BBQ Grill. Fully applianced and appointed kitchen.

Guests enter front sidewalk gate (combo padlock). Then unlock driveway padlock (combo padlock), to enter property. Drive to back and park in designated parking spot on back right, next to the cabin. One vehicle if a truck. 2 (1 behind the other) if small to midsized car.
Other things to note
PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN ENTRY DRIVE ALONG SIDE FRONT HOUSE, as it could block in/out other front house guests. Or coordinate with front guests if you would like

Mostly all Stockyards parking charges $15 . If you don't want to walk the short distance, or weather isn't cooperating, a $6 or $7 Uber ride will get you there in no time...!

Note: As I do with all our vacation rentals, I have personally stayed at this property 6 or 7 times, before listing it, and have walked back and forth to the stockyards everytime....during the daytime, early evening, and late night coming
back. I have walked by myself and with others, as have many of our Lady guests. I can tell you that its an easy, and safe walk, with street lights.

This was a short walking distance to the Stockyards. Everything was as represented…actually even a bit better. I would stay here again and highly recommend. Great condition and perfect for our family of three (college-aged girl). Y’all enjoy!

A wonderful little home
Can’t beat the location! Within short walking distance to the stockyards, a quiet comfortable neighborhood. Perfect size for 4. We certainly recommend and certainly plan on coming back! The host is incredibly accommodating, there’s nothing like southern hospitality!

Perfect location for a visit to the Stockyard Area
Perfect retreat a few blocks from the Stockyard Area--just an easy walk into a quiet neighborhood. Exceptionally clean and comfortable, with plenty of supplies in the kitchen. Perfect front porch for sitting and relaxing after a long day of travel. We'll definitely try to stay here again on future visits to Fort Worth.

Fabulous
This property is so nice and clean and has everything you need. The decor is spot on for a stockyard experience. The beds are so comfortable and the linens are great. You go through a couple of gates,but there easy access. We walked about a block straight into the stockyards and never used our truck the whole weekend,even walking back at night. I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. It was a quiet neighborhood. I absolutely am so happy with this property and David’s communication with me. Just a big ole Texas size star. Thank you for making my weekend awesome. See ya soon…

We rented both places on this property. This one and the house in the front that has 3 bedrooms. The house was perfect for our group. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We spent the weekend going to The Stockyards, so the location was great. It was just a short walk. The property owner was very easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was very nice and clean. However the neighborhood was sketchy. The whole block is dirty and a little unsafe feeling. There was people fighting in the street on one side and loud thumping music playing 24/7 on the other side. Also someone living in a truck parked directly across the street. Something to consider if walking to the Stockyards from here.

This place was really close to the Stockyards area - about a 10 minute walk. It was clean, well decorated and comfortable. Highly recommend for a small group looking for a nice place within walking distance of the Stockyards!
