The hotel was older but very well kept up. The breakfast was ok. We had a little bit of trouble with the air conditioner but figured it out, and it did fine. We were there to be close to our granddaughter's homecoming football game. Had a very pleasant time.

Smokey the Bear…uh, room
Publié le 7 oct. 2024 sur HotelsThe hotel was conveniently located for the purpose of our trip, the staff was friendly and the hotel was generally well kept. The main complaint is the room smelled like cigarettes when we first walked into it. I mentioned this to the receptionist and she said “We have a strict no smoking policy” I said I knew that, but the room still smelled of smoke. It didn’t seem to be as noticeable when we remained in the room for a period of time (I guess because we got used to the smell), but each time we left and returned, it smelled just as strongly as the initial time.
To be fair, we did not request room service, but the receptionist didn’t seem overly concerned since “we have a strict no smoking policy” seemed to be her best line of defense.

We did not end up being able to come stay here because my dad passed away and in my brain fog and shock I forgot to cancel my reservation in time. We booked this through hotels.com and they let us know it was up to the property whether they would refund our money or not. We were extremely surprised and even more grateful that they quickly refunded 100% of our stay within 24 hours. The management of this hotel really showed True Heart and compassion and we will be forever grateful and are definitely raving fans.

Bugs
Publié le 27 sept. 2024 sur HotelsWe had bugs in our room, and when asked to switch rooms, was asked if it could wait until the next day and they would have house keeping look at the room. Room smelled of smoke as well.
