New Year’s Eve Fun!

Weekend Away
Publié le 10 oct. 2021 sur HomeAwayHad a wonderful time up at this quaint little cabin. Wanted a quiet place on the water to relax for a weekend away and this was absolutely perfect. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. There was a small issue during booking (on VRBOs end) but the owner took care of it promptly. Overall, a great experience and I plan on coming to visit again!

Relaxing

Neighbor was very nice, he walked over and offered to let us fish on his property if we wanted. Owner was very nice and responds quickly to questions. Beautiful property.

Great property, very clean and nice area

I recommend that you are accurate when you book regarding the number of people in your party. I was not, and as a result incurred additional fees for extra guests. I assumed that since the property slept 4, the rate quoted would include up to 3 additional guests.
Overall it was an excellent experience, and I would definitely visit again!

Cute cottage!

Lovely Spot
Publié le 15 juill. 2021 sur HomeAwayWe had a very nice time. Our host was so prompt with replying to questions. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five for cleanliness is because the porch had lots of spider webs and the table was dirty. Other than that, this place is GREAT!

Diane, thank you so very much for your feedback. Living at the lake, we have a plethora of spiders and other creatures in this natural setting. Although we strive to keep them at bay with pest control, it simply can be part of the landscape around the lake and the property. Most are harmless and are actually great at keeping other bugs in check! We treat between every booking and try to maintain constant cleanliness for our guests. When guests stay for several days, it’s hard to maintain the spider population around the cottage. However, I do apologize if the amount of cobwebs was bothersome to you.
As for the porch table, if it had not been wiped down prior to your arrival, for that I apologize. It is very rare when we miss something on our cleaning check list. We will take this into consideration for our other guests.
