Guest booked for 8 people and had an unauthorized party for over 50 people breaking the rules. Had tables, chairs, even a dance floor delivered. Caused over $5k in damages and refuses to pay. They even drove a car into the lake that took 2 tow trucks to pull out. Left the biggest mess we have ever seen. Broke a bed, vomit on most linens, drove all over our yard causing ruts, tore up the volleyball net. Worst guest we have ever had! We had to go over there with the police to get them out.

Great spot on Eagle Mountain Lake

We also want to disclose that if you are considering this home for the 4th of July or a day in which there could be fireworks, the neighbors were shooting fireworks until 3:30am. Overall a great house for a family rental.

Thank you so much for choosing our lake house. The property does have a canal that is directly behind the house that has a boat dock that can be used by a fishing boat or a boat without a rack or top. However, at the end of the property is access to the open water. There you have direct access to the lake and you can anchor a boat. There is a gazebo, picnic tables, kayaks & canoes, and sand volleyball down by the main body of water. It sounds like you did not go down there. I am very sorry you missed that. We truly hope that you will visit us again.

Great quiet place, lots of room, super comfortable beds,

I was concerned about all the wasps but later found out most of them are dirt dobbers so not an issue.
The beds are super cofertable

Great House
Publié le 19 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe house was clean & nice but we rented it for the outdoor area for a company picnic. The outdoor grounds were in bad shape, over grown, lots of tall weeds. The porch was a disaster with broken chairs and other broken items. In all we had to spend about five hours, two of us to get it ready. Water is not near the property and hasn't been for some time, 3' weeds under boat ramp! The view is great. Front door key pad didn't work so was unlocked on our arrival and we could not lock for the entire stay unless we were inside. We made it work but for the price we spent too much time on it.

Thank you for your review. If we are not aware there is a problem we cannot fix it. We have the whole property mowed every two weeks. I don't know understand how it would have looked over grown. We also have a cleaner that cleans and takes care of the exterior of the property as well. We have guest every week and no one has let us know that anything is broken or unkept. The cleaner sends me pics of the inside and the out side each time she cleans after every visit. The landscaping crew also sends pictures every two weeks. So this information is surprising. We will get over there right away to inspect the home. We depend on these vendors to take care of the property and provide any information we need to make sure the property is always in it's best condition. As for the lock I have no idea what the issue was because the next guest did not have any issues using it. We are truly disappointed that you did not feel the home was up to your expectations. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to correct the issues and visit us again. Thank you!

Great place for family gatherings
Publié le 31 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayGreat place for family gatherings. Good location on a eagle Mountain Lake away from city hassle, but not too remote. Seven minutes to a well stocked Dollar General. Fifteen minutes to anything else you might need including a selection of restaurants.

Perfect Lake House for Special Occasions
Publié le 2 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayMy now husband and I rented this property for ourselves and our bridal party for 3 days. Our home wasn't large enough for all the bridal party, family, and friends, coming and going through the hectic pre-wedding festivities. This house was great, very large, and had most everything we needed, plus lots of games, outdoor fire, lake access, etc.
With all that being said, it is a lake house and with thay comes the outdoor bugs and spider webs, which didn't bother us much. We did wish that the outdoor furniture cushions were cleaner or newer, but again we're nit picking here.
Very happy with our stay and the communication between us and the property manager. Thank you for being part of our wedding memories! 💙
