Excellent vacation
Publié le 30 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe have stayed for 24 nights in July 2022. The WiFi connection works. The property description is correct. The kitchen is fully functional. All appliances work. The house was well provided with towels and all kinds of conveniences. The location is excellent. The neighborhood is safe. The owner made significant efforts to transform our vacation into a wonderful experience. We hope to come back again.

Home was fully stocked as stated, making cooking so much easier. Owner is very responsive and provides exceptional customer service and ideas for visit. We will be back!

Summer vacation

To all, it’s adviced to read thoroughly the welcome email sent before arrival. Manager and owner are great to work with ! We enjoyed our stay!

Mahalo for this glowing feedback in our guestbook: Ratings do not always reflect the hard work that goes into having a 5 star accommodation, unfortunately. The owner sends out detailed information on the manager meeting the guests and showing them the way to the cabin since it can be very confusing initially. In addition, there is a wealth of information on activities in the area including places to eat and hike. It is advisable that each guest read the information to facilitate their stay. A fiberoptic cable has just been installed by the internet company and this has significantly improved the speed of the cable. The owner does business on the internet every day while preparing the cabin for her guests and finds it very user friendly as have the business guests who have done work/vacations there. So happy that you enjoyed your stay!!

This amazing cabin, located at the end of a paved road through the woods gives you the feeling that you have completely left civilian behind. You are lulled by total silence, surrounded by nature …lush greenery, deer, a small pond …it’s the perfect getaway from the hectic pace of our daily lives.
The cabin is beautifully decorated. Everything you would ever need is at your fingertips.
I needed a peaceful retreat and it was perfect. Also a short drive from this wonderful place I attended an outdoor concert on the shores of a Montana lake along with 2000 other people . So I would give this VRBO a 5 star plus rating when you take into consideration all of the amenities they offer, the beauty and unique serenity only being at one with nature can fulfill and the many other options available if a person wants to take advantage of opportunities in the area.

Beautiful cabin, very private.

We were there in the fall and the heat worked great, and it was wonderful to be able to turn on the fireplace to warm the living room quickly. We also enjoyed the shower/steam combo - very warming on a cold night. The house was very clean and the kitchen well stocked. The beds need new matresses.

We are so happy that you had a wonderful stay and were so comfortable in our cabin home Charlotte! Please come again! The mattresses were purchased new in 2007 and are supposed to be of the highest quality, 25-year mattresses. We find that most of our guests love them and we are so sorry if you didn’t find them to your liking. We are always looking for ways to make our guests even more comfortable. We did notice upon our own arrival that the box springs on one of the twin beds had been damaged and this is likely due to young boys who stayed here shortly before your arrival and likely jumped on these beds. This unit will be replaced. We loved having you as our guests and we do hope that you will join us again to experience the wonderment of Glacier Park and the surrounding Ten Lakes area.

Publié le 21 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayWe used the home for a staging area to explore the northwest corner of Montana. Hands down one of the most beautiful spots we have been. The home was secluded which is what we wanted. We saw deer everyday in the yard and had a bear cub visit on two occasions. Although the owner was worried about the bear, we enjoyed the excitement. The home was extremely well stocked with supplies that Owners typically require the Tenant to bring or go buy. This was most convenient.
We would go back tomorrow if the opportunity arose.

Mahalo Randall for being such amazing guests and having such a great attitude about the little bear cub that kept visiting during your stay!! Exciting for certain!! We do hope that you join us again when the Canadian border is easier to cross as we would love to have you as guests again! For future reference, the soft tops on the beds can be removed if you prefer a firmer bed, thus giving guests the choice of how they prefer to sleep. We are happy that you enjoyed having the house well-stocked. Since the cabin is so nicely isolated, I like to have snacks and condiments (including huckleberry jam) available for my guests as well as barbecuing briquettes and lighter fluid so they can grill out. The fire pit has wood available as well so that marshmallows can be toasted for s'mores. My goal is to provide my guests with an unforgettable NW Montana holiday and to have repeat guests(friends) come to stay over and over again. You guys are ones that I definitely wish to come back!! I totally enjoyed having you stay at my home!

Great Stay

The fenced in yard (electric fence to keep away the bears) was fantastic, the proximity to Ten Lakes, Glacier National Park, Flathead, lake Koocanusa, etc. The upstairs master bedroom has a partition down the middle with one side making an excellent home office for those looking to do some work while in Montana. The pond was a hit with our boys especially with the inflatable kayak we brought with us..
We were able to horse back and kayak at Glacier, Fly Fish down by Libby, rent a boat on Flat Head, etc as well as many hikes around the area. Everything you could want is provided in the house in terms of supplies (including flashlights, bear spray, charcoal, coolers, paper towels, cleaning supplies, etc.)
As always there are a few minor things but any issues the owner took care of them immediately. If you do a lot of cooking might be worth bringing along a chef's knife as the ones in the house were a bit dull.
Highly recommend if looking to experience Montana!
