La State Highway 6 étant fermée, je n’avais aucun moyen d’y aller venant de Greymouth. J’ai essayé de les appeler sans succès et leur répondeur téléphonique était saturé. Je ne suis pas en mesure de donner un avis mais je suis très mécontent de ne pas avoir pu les joindre malgré mes essais.

We had a spotlessly clean room for 3 right next door to the community kitchen. We were also able to put our bottles in the community kitchen to freeze for the next day in our ice chest. Management was extremely friendly and even brought us some ice cubes! The property is walkable to the small shops in town and we saw several restaurants. The property appears older and shares room for RVs and campers though that was no issue. We highly recommend this property!

2 nights in Fox Glacier
Publié le 21 juill. 2024 sur HotelsIt was an amazing experience to stay in a wooden cabin. There were adequate facilities including a fully equipped kitchenette. The staff is friendly and they also offer a Glowworm spotting walking tour at 7 pm.
Overall, very good experience and would recommend in Fox Glacier area.

We loved the friendly guy in reception, he was very helpful.
We didn't like the cleanliness of the room, found lots of places that weren't clean. An area in the bathroom next to the bath still had a lot of hair and fluff like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile.

The ambiance created by the Lodge truly captured my Fox Glacier mountain experience. As a female Solo traveller I found it warm, friendly, and loved the shared kitchen with every whim catered for. Lovely to interact with fellow travellers and also retire to my own space/balcony for privacy.

Nice Hotel in Fox Glassier which it is near Franz Josef Glacier (FJG). Hotel located on the road and great value. It is about 30 minutes from FJG but ok. Independent units with a chalet style with all you might need.

room really well presented liked very much
only negative was spa bath water temp too cold, had to fill up with hot jug to get spa water temp up so you could just relax after a big travel day.

Our chalet was very comfortable, and cosy.
It was quiet, but central to the cafes and supermarket in the main street.
A beautiful breakfast was included, and the kitchenette was great.
The chalet was clean, with parking at the door.
