Great place for an anniversary getaway
Publié le 20 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy partner and I were very happy with the stay. The place was extremely nice, and close to the beach. The host were friendly and polite which made my partner and I feel very welcome. Definitely would stay here again in the future, would definitely recommend staying here.

Michelle & Paul were amazing guests. Memories was spotless, rubbish & recycling taken care of. Couldn't have asked for better guests, would recommend to other hosts and gladly have them stay again.

A great stay at Memories
Publié le 23 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis place was cosy and quiet, it was a great place to come ro at the end of the day. I really appreciated the snacks that were provided and the extra effort Gary and Linda made to get me sparkling grape juice instead of bubble!
They were very welcoming but left me to my privacy for the duration of my stay.
The communicated with them was good they were quick to respond to any questions I had and I knew if I needed anything I could contact them.
The place had everything you could need.
Overall I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this place for anyone staying at Foxton Beach.

Foxy Times at Foxton Beach

We were down in the Manawatu from the South Waikato for the Junior Motocross Championships so we unfortunately didn’t get to spend a lot of time at Memories, but what time we did spend there, we thoroughly enjoyed. Memories had everything we needed, the bed was super comfortable, and the shower was devine. It was such a nice home away from home to come back to from a long day at Motocross. We would definitely recommend & stay again. All the very best, Michele & Dan

I could work remotely, cook and run errands easily, enjoy walks along the estuary and relax at the end of the day. Loved it!

Gary and Linda are lovely hosts. We even came home with some Rawleighs! Great little place to stay with everything you need provided. Clean and tidy. Foxton Beach was s lovely surprise......beautiful.

Booking service didn’t function well so communication with owner over an issue was strained.

As discussed with the guest there was a multi box with 2 extra slots behind the TV. Behind the microwave there was a spare plug point, a spare plug point in the bedroom and also a multi box behind the bed with 2 spare plug points, the small bedroom also has 2 spare plug points. Plenty of usable plug points available for guests. This has never been a problem for past guests who have in a lot of cases worked from Memories with multiple devices to power up.
There was no issue with the booking site, the problem was that the additional payment request sent back in September due to another night being added to the booking was not paid prior to checking in. This was time consuming for both parties to sort out and could have been avoided.
It was nice Denise & Phillip were able to make the most of their time with family during there visit.

Has got everything you need
