Fantastic Vacation Home
Publié le 29 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy stay at this house was absolutely fantastic. This is a very special & beautiful home, one that is extremely charming and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were 100% spotless, as was the kitchen. The family room is really nice, with a fireplace, large comfortable sofas, cable TV, and picture windows with views of the mountains. The family room also has painted wall murals of Cannon Mt and skiing themes which are really quite impressive. There is also a very large backyard where we threw the football and baseball around, and with plenty of room for children to run and play. It was lots of fun sitting around the fire pit at night too, with plenty of precut and stacked firewood. And if you like star gazing, the night sky is breathtaking. The house could not be better situated, with Franconia's restaurants, shops and markets just down the road, and very close to all of the sites and attractions of the area. The Flume Gorge, Mt Washington, The Basin, Lost River, Clarks Trading Post, and other scenic places are all a short drive from the house. Cannon Mt is a very close, which offers great skiing for all levels. The hosts were absolutely fantastic.; super nice people who were instantly responsive whenever I had a question. In sum, I have to say that this is truly one of the nicest and most comfortable homes that I have ever stayed at, and one that I am looking forward very much to returning to again. Beautiful

Great stay in White Mountains

holiday stay

It was very nice having the two living room spaces so that there was space for some people to quietly read while others played games in the other space. Location on Main Street, but also a very short drive to Cannon, Artists Bluff/Bald Mountain (who could have predicted that we would be hiking there in late December), and Littleton is great. Mattresses upstairs are not new and upstairs shower takes some acrobatics to get low enough to wash your hair, but that was part of the charm of the place.

Great End To Summer
Publié le 4 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis is a charming farmhouse, just down the road from all you need. The place is very large and extremely clean. It is everything it is advertised to be and more. We had a great time with the grandkids roasting marshmallows, hiking around Cannon Mt., swimming at Echo Lake and playing games in the evening at the house. Thanks for great memories!

Last minute getaway
Publié le 21 août 2023 sur HomeAwayMy husband & I along with our son & daughter in law and 7 week old baby daughter felt right at home in this farmhouse. Plenty of space for everyone including our golden retriever who loved the back yard. Just loved the sound of the river flowing directly across the street. Would definitely stay there again!

Centrally located

Plenty of room and great location
Publié le 26 févr. 2023 sur HomeAwayFarmhouse that has charm for days. Plenty of space for a large group with multiple living areas. Most of our time was spent with the wood burning fireplace going after long days at Cannon which is only about a 10 minute drive.
Walkable to Iron Furnace Brewery and to shops and restaurants. The location is also only a 15 minute drive from Littleton which is a must visit in the area.

Great Franconia stay!
Publié le 6 févr. 2023 sur HomeAwayRoomy but cozy, excellent room to spread out. Fireplace worked great and plenty of firewood. Ample parking. House well stocked and "older house" charming. Beds comfortable. Great location - walking distance to restaurants and full service grocery store, and to the Fox Hill hiking trail system. Good base for cannon, Loon.
Looking forward to staying again next winter!
