"We'll leave the ALARM on"

The hotel was average or a little bit above average for a motel 6. No breakfast. And, at 6:00 a.m., someone's allowed alarm went off, and stayed on for an hour and 15 minutes. Nobody else seemed to notice that.

Nice folks. I stayed Thurs-Sun and my room was never cleaned once and I thought it was odd. I was in a “pet room,” but it smelled of wet dog.

I doubt that I would choose Motel 6 again. It started out pouring down rain and I pulled up to the door to the office went to the after hours window and the clerk asked me why parked like that making me feel like an idiot, then went to the room which we requested a smoke free room, we walked in an realized right away it wasn't smoke free. The next morning I saw a sticker on the door about a discount of 10% for AARP so I asked the morning clerk about it and she couldn't do anything for me, the last thing we were packing the car by the rear door to leave and the people were having a gathering of friends and family and 1 of them wasn't using family friendly language. We checked out early an drove to our next hotel in Chicago at a choice mainstay, much better experience.

Tracy who worked at the front desk has been absolutely amazing throughout my whole stay. I arrived on my day of check in a little early and she was more than gracious enough to allow me to get to my room to rest. Not only that I got held up at work working pass check out and instead of me paying for another night she was was more than happy to get housekeeping to get my belongings together to leave at the front desk for when I return. The rooms were very clean as well as the bedding. I have to say I have zero complaints and will be returning!

The check in went well. It was clean in the room and had good supplies other than shampoo. The area outside was not the greatest, but we were safe. It is good for just a night of rest at a lower price.
