Publié le 9 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwaySpent the weekend with mom and sister at this little house. It was very cozy and a perfect location. Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the kitchen setup. This house is perfect for a close group of people as there is not much privacy between the two bedrooms. No issue for us but. I would suggest that the host offer a k cup coffee maker but thankfully the german bakery was open early and did not dissapoint. Thank you for sharing your home.maker

Cute Historic Property
Publié le 18 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayHouse is a spacious historic property close to Fredricksburg shops and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. I appreciated the care taken to preserve the history of the home including restoring and not renovating the property. It is about an 8 minute walk to the "Main drag" of town.
A few items to note - there are two bedrooms and you have to walk through one to get to the other. There is an exterior door to the second bedroom, so if you prefer to not walk through, you do have an option to access the second bedroom without bothering those in the first bedroom.
I personally had trouble getting hot water in the second bathroom, but it may have been user error as the first bathroom had no issues with hot water.
It's a great house with lots of room to spread out, we really enjoyed our stay.

One night stay in Fredericksburg
Publié le 22 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was definitely a blast from the past exactly as described. Many Antiques and very quaint. Very convenient to everything we wanted to do! My issues were the 2nd bathroom needs updating! I’m a petite woman but the shower would be impossible for a larger person I think. Also the water squirts out of the shower when you turn it on. Windows and doors need updating to keep road noise down and I could hear the people across the street inside the house. Fans in both rooms make sounds like they need work.

To future guests,
The shower head should be aimed slightly to the left and then it doesn’t spray out. The ceiling fans don’t make noise.
