City on a Hill at Spring Creek  in Fredericksburg, Texas has five deluxe, private cabins overlooking—you guessed it—Spring Creek! Vineyard (1082289), Victory House (1071915), Mary's Mansion (1082276), Grace Place (1082282) and Love. The cabins are set up with the same basic layout. Although the cabins are only 10 miles from town, guests feel as if they are in another world....a world of pure Texas Hill Country!
As you step inside your cabin, you will appreciate the comfortable king size bed with elegant hill country style bedding. The bedroom/sitting area includes a flat screen TV with satellite selections and comfortable seating for relaxing. The main area also includes a kitchenette complete with a convection oven, full size refrigerator, keurig and microwave plus an island bar with bar stools. Adjoining this large room is the huge bathroom with tub/shower combo.
One of the most unique features of this Fredericksburg treasure is the access to the beautiful creek just below your back covered porch which runs the length of the cabin. The porch offers sweeping views of Spring Creek, a barbecue pit, sitting area, and best of very own private hot tub! Enjoy the amazing scenic view while soaking away your cares. Feel free to wade through the creek or even go fishing, but don't forget your fishing pole! After making a splash you may want to take a short walk down the road to Chisolm Trail Winery. Perhaps you will want to take a tour or indulge in a tasting of some of the hill country's finest vino.
When you are looking for all those great amenities that make Fredericksburg famous, you just can't beat  City on a Hill at Spring Creek!

Great place! Would definitely recommend to anyone.
We really enjoyed our short stay and will be back. Well equipped, very clean, and the perfect setting away from town. Sitting in the hot tub enjoying a cup of coffee while watching and listening to all the wild turkeys was a great morning before having to check out.

We had a great stay. Our dog loved getting to see animals. It still baffles me how she connects with other animals. Be aware that there’s no stove but there is a cooking plate device and a little oven to use on the island. I’ve never had better, more cordial or timely responses from any host.

Such a lovely property. A hop, skip, and a jump from Fredericksburg but you really feel like you are out in the country. The hot tub by the creek was wonderful. It was private and even though it was summer we very much enjoyed it. Thoughtful decorations made it feel like home. You won't be disappointed!

I went with my husband and two dogs here for a four-day getaway. It was wonderful! So quiet and peaceful. The hot tub and sauna were amazing! We enjoyed just relaxing and taking in the scenery. We saw deer, cows and ponies. The owner is super nice and very responsive. We will definitely go back again!!

Fabulous Place for Peace & Quiet
This place was clean, neat, and so quiet and peaceful. There were deer and you could hear so many different birds while sitting on the patio. It is close enough to town to do things in Fredericksburg, but far enough away to enjoy the quiet country. The host was fantastic. Far enough away to give us our privacy, but close enough to respond to any questions we had. We loved this place and will definitely go back!

Amazing Getaway!
We loved our stay at this amazing cabin. Very welcoming stay with music playing on the TV when we arrived. Cabin smelled great and was super clean. We loved the super clean hot tub and fishing in the creek below. Very relaxing and secluded feeling while still being close to Fredericksburg and all that comes with it. Would definitely stay again!

It was our honeymoon, just a couple days, and the place was wonderful. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. We live in the country and wanted something out in the country. The added spring creek was beautiful, we saw deer and turkey out across the pasture and the cute ponies. Felt very private for us, plus within 15-20 minutes to town if you want to venture out. We will definitely come back.

Adorable Cabin!
We really enjoyed our weekend getaway at this adorable cabin with so much character. It was close enough to town for a quick drive to dinner, but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. Highly recommend!

Romantic Pony Paradise
This is the perfect escape for romance and rest. Drinking wine in the hot tub and watching the stars, watching holiday movies in a giant king sized bed, sweating out the stress of the work week in the dry sauna, and of course, petting the ponies. What a treat! We will be back for sure. (A side note to those staying here- be sure to bring plenty of food to cook/grill and additional coffee K-cups & creamer because you aren't going to want to leave the cabin!)

INCREDIBLE getaway
We went to Fredericksburg for a getaway and to visit some of the vineyards. Our time away together is precious and rare, so it is important to us that everything meets our needs and expectations. I can say wholeheartedly that the cabin and the ground here far exceeded what we were needing. Walking in, we were so pleased at the size of the cabin. And it was so well equipped with everything we might need. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and relaxing in the hot tub after a day out wine tasting. The bed was SO comfortable too. Made it easy to get going the next day after a good night's sleep. The ponies and cows roaming around across the river were so cute. They even crossed over and we got to pet a couple of them. Everything was perfect. We will definitely be back and we are so happy to have found this gem.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!
We loved our stay in "Victory House" cottage! Everything was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities listed in the ad. We had a small problem with our coffee maker, and called Ms. Jean, who had it fixed almost immediately. We had no complaints except for our need to return home!
