(Pool can be heated to @88 degrees for $75/ day March-Oct and $100/ day Nov-Feb. If temps are too low outside and the pool can’t reach 88, Host will either not heat the pool or will turn off the heater and refund the fee. Ask Host in advance. )

MORE DETAILS: This large German Limestone home (Heinemann--Moritz Estate built in1873) was renovated for luxury!
*MAIN bedroom: vaulted ceiling, tall windows overlooking the private courtyard, a King four-poster bed, TV and private marble bath (double Flemish antique porcelain sink, rain shower, and pedestal tub).
* 2nd bedroom has a King bed
* 3rd bedroom has a Queen bed. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms share a bath with double granite-topped sinks and a huge walk-in double head shower.
*4th upstairs bedroom (steep stairs- not for elderly or toddlers) has a beamed vaulted ceiling, 2 Queen beds, a TV and a private bathroom with shower.
* The remaining beds are NOT PRIVATE and consist of a pullout queen couch bed in the main living room and 1 daybed in the study/game room.

The gourmet kitchen has an oversized island, a bar and a Wolf gas range with 6 burners, a griddle and 2 ovens for the little chef in you! The living room is floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking the lush backyard, lovingly called "The Secret Garden" by friends. The house also offers a game room/study and a Billiard Room/ living area with a TV for guests to spread out. The house offers cable television, 4 flatscreen TV's and Wifi. The dining table seats 10 with 3 bar stools at the kitchen bar. The back patio has a dining table for 8, 6 Sun loungers, a seating area for 6 by the grill and a gas fire pit with seating for 6. The front porch also features 4 rockers so there are multiple options for entertaining! The Estate is located on .66 secluded acres just one block off of Main Street. Setting includes 2 English courtyards and a large backyard with an old Red Barn!

IMPORTANT: DO NOT RENT THIS HOUSE if you plan on having loud or late night partying/pool use. CITY QUIET HOURS are 10 pm-7 am (and neighbors will REPORT YOU). The City is cracking down on all noise violations so POOL and HOT TUB USE ENDS at 10pm and we ask that you bring the guests INSIDE the house at 10pm. This property may use NoiseAware noise monitoring device (one interior and one exterior). It does NOT record actual sounds or conversations but simply monitors the noise level (measured in decibels). Violators will immediately LOSE THEIR DEPOSIT if a neighbor complains to the host. Renter and Guests will also BE REQUIRED TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY (WITH NO REFUND on the rental) if there is a 2ND NEIGHBOR Complaint OR if the POLICE are called. YOU wIll also be Liable for The NOISE VIOLATION TICKET /FINE.

Holiday Getaway
We had such an amazing experience. Jill was such a help and the communication was excellent. The house was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen was great and stocked with everything, there were even s'mores supplies! We had a very kind gift from a local bakery as well. My family loved the hot tub, the outdoor spaces, the sun room, the pool table and so much more. We would love to come back!!!

Romantic getaway
Our first visit to Fredericksburg was a delightful experience, and the house played a significant role in making it so enjoyable. We loved being able to stroll to nearby restaurants and explore the charming town without relying much on our car. The owner's suggestions were invaluable in helping us plan where to eat and what to do. After a day of walking and wine tasting, the pool was refreshing in the afternoons, and we had a blast playing pool in the evenings. The house had a lovely vintage charm, which we adored, but it did come with the quirks of an older home—creaky floors and sounds from the outside, including some late-night construction noise from jackhammers. Despite that, the cleanliness of the house met our expectations. We did notice a few dead roaches and gnats, likely a result of recent pest control efforts, which we appreciated. Overall, it was a fantastic trip, and we would definitely recommend this house to others.

Quite the historical, comfortable stay
This was a perfect stay for reuniting 7 old friends. The house was comfortable and beautiful. So much privacy to be a block off Main St. Plenty of room to sit down and eat or play games at the table. The pool was nice. Enjoyed the well stocked kitchen, bedroom and pool needs. Cleanliness was a 10! This original 1871 home was of extreme interest! Jill responded immediately to our needs.

Lovely Bachelorette Weekend @ the Lux Estate
We had such a great stay and Jill was an amazing host. Her communication and accessibility was top notch and the home was absolutely stunning - perfect for a Bach weekend for thirty something’s! The perfect place to stay when you are visiting Fredericksburg!
We had an incredible stay at this beautiful house in Fredericksburg, Texas! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and cozy the house was. Despite the hot summer weather, the house remained wonderfully cool, providing a perfect retreat from the heat. The outdoor space was just as delightful, featuring a stunning pool and well-maintained landscaping. It was the ideal spot to relax and unwind. The location was fantastic! Just a short 4-minute walk to the main part of town, we were able to enjoy all the local shopping and dining with ease. Plus, it was only a 2-minute drive to even more great spots, and the famous wineries of Fredericksburg were still conveniently close. Our host truly made the experience exceptional. They were attentive, responsive, and genuinely one of the best hosts we've ever dealt with. Their hospitality added so much to our stay, making it even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a wonderful getaway in Fredericksburg!

Family getaway
Beautiful house and property located a block from Main Street. Arrived to a a fruit tray and fresh gorgeous flowers spaced around the home. Kids enjoyed the pool table, pool and hot tub. Kitchen had an abundance of cookware and serving dishes. This home had everything you would want in a home away from home. Communication was A+ with easy check-in and departure instructions. We had a great time! The house was better than the description! Our twin 16 year old granddaughters loved the upstairs bedroom. The pool was great for the family and very clean. Great location, one block off main! The kitchen had all you need for any meal! We would highly recommend! Very Professional and property manager made sure everything was perfect!

Good location in Fredericksburg.
We really only have two recommendations. Cut out or severely trim the plants on the grill area of the patio. Just way to much there. Secondly, install an intuitive thermostat located in the hallway to the downstair bedrooms. Impossible to use properly. For the 8 people we had there it was a very nice facility and great location. Pool and hot tub were super. All as advertised. Thanks

Girls trip
It was a great trip and the communication was great as well! The beds were comfortable and the whole property is beautiful. The only thing is there was 9 of us so the hot water ran out when we needed to shower. Also, they are very specific about “quiet time” at night so the pool lights and hot tub were turned off at 9:45-10. Those things were very minor and the over all trip was wonderful.

Seven of us met for a long Girls’ Weekend in Fredericksburg. The house was perfect for us. There was plenty of room! Beds were super comfy. It was so easy to communicate with Jill, the owner. We loved the kitchen, main living room, spa and pool.

Great For Families
My hubby and I were celebrating ur fiftieth wedding anniversary with our grown children and grandchildren. The house was wonderful! There was something for everyone to do, pool table, swimming pool, games and fire pit for roasting marshmallows. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pans, and serving dishes for when we wanted to dine in. The staff wass very responsive and kind. All in all, we had a wonderful Easter weekend.

Perfect Family Vacation
The property was absolutely beautiful, and so unique! Perfect space for everyone to spread out and spend time together. We used the kitchen and hot tub and it worked well for nights in and perfectly suited what we wanted- which was time together. Jill was a lovely host, prompt, responsive, and so helpful. The property had materials for us to look at for food and great recommendations for local businesses, and she also messaged them so I could have them quickly on my phone. We talked about coming back over spring/summer for another family trip, as it provided a great setting for all of us.

Excellence everywhere! Old house with multiple renovations. Some minor flaws, but nothing to detract from the experience. Very comfortable and modern conveniences made it function like a new home. Very private back yard and pool. Clean. Flowers, cheese tray, gift showed thoughtfulness of owners. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

This was our 3rd visit and we all still love it and wish it were ours! We are 3 generations with 7 adults and 4 children and all are extremely comfortable in this beautiful, historic home. The pool is just the cherry on the top! Everywhere are special touches that makes the stay more beautiful and enjoyable. My friends and I had a ladies birthday getaway and we all loved staying at this property. It was very roomy and well kept. We loved the pool and being able to sit outside on the porches. Weekend golf getaway!
We stayed in this charming home for my son to play in a golf tournament. The owner was super helpful and gave me recommendations for a baker so we could have a birthday cake for my son’s birthday while we were there. The locations is ideal, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of main but close enough to be there in 2 minutes. The drive to the golf course was short as well. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you might need to whip up a meal or snack. Perfect location and ideal home for a family.
