Pros: Top notch modern facility; remote yet connected; good location between two small towns. Cons: could use better maintenance, it was apparent that despite the newness of the facilities and the good design (easy to keep clean), spider webs are abound and dust is lurking in all the corners. Please invest is a good maintenance crew and programme, a little bit goes a long way. I'd hate to see the place rundown the next time I come by (and I do plan to come back).

We loved our stay at the Skye Hill Country Resort. The cabin was spotless and felt brand new, the wildlife was amazing, and the facilities were nice. While it was a drive into Fredericksburg, it was worth it to be out in nature. The live music last night was a nice surprise. We enjoyed our time and will recommend the resort to others!

Need lite path from parking pad to entry to tent, very dark..had to use phone flashlights.It was an experience sleeping in tent..enjoyed hot tub..

Escape the city and enjoy.

This was a great escape away from th city. Crickets chiping at night and deer were grazing in the morning right outside our pod that was surprisingly roomy and comfortable. Just a short drive into main street Fredericksburg.

The property is pretty cool.. about 29 minutes outside Fredericksburg.. it’s really nice .. lots of deer roaming the property.. the pool was nice but a little cold.. the hot tub is great, the pickle ball and shuffle board was fun and without a lot light in the area .. the view of the stars was amazing .. the staff was great!!! Now for the not so good.. your out in the middle of nowhere so there was a lot of insects .. if you open the door at night and have the lights on .. expect a lot of bugs to come in .. I killed about 40-50 bugs throughout the night.. and spiders to .. but overall this place was great .. definitely staying here again

We had a great stay at the resort. The cabin was clean and very convenient because it has everything you need for your stay. The staff are very nice and friendly. There were EV charging stations which was great. We will definitely stay here again. It was wonderful.

When you get on the web site it appears to be a very nice resort. When you get then it is basically a campsite with a trailer for 286.00 per night. It was small crowded and uncomfortable. It was way overpriced for a basic trailer park in the middle of nowhere.
