Publié le 8 janv. 2020 sur HotelsEndroit très reculé qui doit être magnifique au printemps. Cottage bien agencé avec 2 bémols: la poussière qui rentre de partout et la climatisation très bruyante. Le petit-déjeuner est vraiment très limité. Hôte très sympathique et aidant. Prix très élevé pour l’endroit surtout si l’on vient d’un B&B bien plus grand avec super pdj sis Près de New-Braunfels

We are remote, which adds to the peace and relaxation we offer to our guests. Thanks again for staying with us and we will continue to look for ways to improve.

What a wonderful gem tucked away in Hill Country. We were looking for a place that is dog-friendly, comfortable, and quiet. Walnut Canyon Cabins is the perfect choice for all this and more! The owners are so welcoming and knowledgeable. They had treats for our pup and homemade chocolates to help us celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. The cabin was perfect! So clean and accommodating. Farm fresh eggs from their chickens, biscuit dough, fresh ham, and more were all provided. The bed was comfortable and so was the furniture. We were given deer feed and what an amazing experience! We had 6 deer including one baby that came right up and fed. We also were able to see the chickens roam and feed the cows and horse on the property as well. As an avid animal lover, this made my trip! The view from our cabin was absolutely incredible! Do yourself a favor and just stay here. You will not be disappointed. We are already planning our trip back. At the base of the main road is Old Tunnel State Park. The views are breathtaking! It’s just a short drive to restaurants and grocery stores as well as shopping and so much beautiful architecture. We visited the National Museum of the Pacific War as well as Stonehenge and so many other beautiful attractions.

Das Blockhaus hat eine überwältige Aussicht auf den Canyon. Wenn ein Adler in ein paar meter entfernung vorbei fliegt ist das beeindruckend. Wenn man ruhig ist sieht man auch Rehe vor dem Haus. Und Nachts ein fantastischer Sternenhimmel. Außerdem hat mañ wirlich ruhe.

Views from our cabin were beautiful. Rhonda and Carl greeted us and our two dogs with drinks and treats. They were amazing hosts. Will definitely be rebooking for another stay in the future.

We loved our stay at Walnut Canyon Cabins. Our hosts went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable. The cabins was cozy and well stocked and the views from our deck were amazing.
We will definitely be back. This spot is a hidden gem worthy of many return visits.

The cabin was the perfect getaway for me and my friends. Really enjoyed the area, very close to old tunnel state park and a short drive to Fredericksburg.
