J'ai aimé la plage et la mer. Le personnel est très attentif aux besoins et répond aux questions posées. Je n'ai pas aimé la façon dont le transport de l'hôtel vers les différents points d'attraction se fait. Si tu n'as pas de voiture il faut négocier le prix du transport avec les chauffeurs de taxi. Les prix peuvent être exagérés si tu n'as pas d'idée. Ce n'est pas réglementé et il faut payer cash .

Everything about our stay was first class. The snorkeling off the beach area was as good as anywhere we have been. Close access to town but still secluded at the same time. Exactly what we were looking for in a vacation. Staff was incredible.

The moment you drive onto the property it’s driving into another piece in paradise of its own! From the kindness and hospitality from the owners and to all that worked there were amazing! Best beach, best food! I loved the clean grounds with rooms and private pools! You guys thought of everything!!❤️ I stayed on the other side of the island for the majority of my trip and I wish I stayed the entire trip at Sand Castle! I will never book anywhere else!! Thank you guys for everything

If you looking for no judgment safe place, that’s your ideal destination💕 This paradise will be nothing without wonderful people that runs and visiting this place. Very laidback vibe, with incredible beach and crystal clear water. Beach attendants are very aware of your comfort and security at any time. Small property with lots of places to relax. If you want to see things around, rent a car in advance. Every single person at this Ambiente (I’m sorry if I don’t remember or misspelled your name, in any particular order) Marianna- my life saver, her husband Andrew, the Hotel owners Ted and Chris, Amar, Barbara, Josh, literally everyone are the People that make that place unforgettable ❤️‍🔥 You don’t have to worry about a single thing, because they will make it happen. Laying in the hammock, enjoying fresh star fruit straight from the tree of Hotel garden is just one of my delightful memories. I can’t forget to mention Welcome gift including great quality local Rum. Fresh beach chairs covers and towels with completely free Beach umbrellas and floaters. Daily cleaned swimming pools and walking ways around. Complimentary breakfast with local bake goods, just perfect enough to start your day. The best view to admire Sunset and Sunrise. Check the Beachcam, you will see your self 😁 This place is definitely worth visiting for the second time. I have never travel twice to the same destination, but I might do the exception 😏 All Paradise Births are welcome here🫶

Incredible! Staff was so friendly, the room and property were clean and tidy, the restaurant was so delicious and the daily specials were phenomenal! Can’t wait to return! The owners and staff made us feel like family. We traveled in September and it felt like we had the resort, beach and island to ourselves! Super intimate and perfect for a romantic honeymoon getaway. Can’t give them enough praise and one million thumbs up!

This resort was a saving grace to us during our week long trip to STX in August. Our family of four booked a private villa through Vrbo. The private villa located in Cane Bay / Kings Hill area was a nightmare. No way we could stay there. Vrbo helped us find Sandcastle for the remainder of our trip which I booked through Expedia which was 6 days. We stayed in the Dolphin: 2 bed, 2 bath private villa which also has a full kitchen. (This was great as we had $400 in groceries purchased for our vrbo. We enjoyed staying here. All of the staff were great. All were very friendly and offered great service, right down to the sweet ladies in housekeeping! This place has a lovely atmosphere. I liked metal sculptures and tropical plants. The restaurant was great. The view incredible! We ended up eating there at least once a day or ordered cocktails from the bar. The beach is beautiful , beach service was fantastic! (The painkiller cocktail, is amazing!) On the third day of our trip tropical storm Ernesto hit the island. All the USVI had no power, and many residents without water. The resort had back up systems. We didn’t experience any interruptions to power or water. We were very thankful to ride out the storm here at the resort as so many people/ businesses did not have the same experience. The generator ran until the day before our departure. I think it’s truly sad that in this day and age residents were without power, water, or both for so long after a tropical storm.

Very relaxing and comfortable stay
Everything was great, clean and comfortable. Peaceful atmosphere. Continental breakfast wasn’t very continental as were used (caprisun juice packs) to and simply got breakfast locally offsite.

Pros: lots! Very nice quiet and relaxing boutique hotel. Staff- every one if them- were so welcoming and friendly. We stayed in a king ocean view balcony and it was great. Had a kitchen area with everything you’d need. Nice sandy beach with chairs and umbrellas. Immaculate room and grounds. Con’s: the“ breakfast” was sad for even continental style and was served from the office window. Restaurant was convenient but not great- surprised it gets so many accolades- had huge portions but lots of food seemed like frozen and packaged- Kraft boxed mac-n- cheese served and offered same “special” 14 oz steak all week. However always served with a smile. Although we enjoyed our week, we will try someplace else next time. I’d give a 7-8/10 and this is due to the food.

This place is like heaven on earth, man. The owners, Chris and Ted, are super cool. Chris would take the time to show us these amazing flowers around the resort whenever he saw us. One of them even smelled like Chanel No. 5! They have tortoises in the courtyard, which was pretty awesome. I even helped find one. Josh at the front desk was super helpful and friendly, giving us all the best info about the island and what was going on in town. The beach is beautiful and the water is crystal clear full of beautiful fish and if you're lucky like us you'll even swim with sea turtles! I would go back there in a heartbeat. If you want a vacation where you can totally forget about the real world and relax, this is the place to be.
