Publié le 26 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great time. We had a problem with toilet and with tub being stopped up. We reported it immediately. We got taken care immediately. The only complaint was a water hole that was a breeding ground for mosquitoes.

Queen side bed was way to soft caused back aches

Publié le 25 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe location is good the water is a little smelly but it’s not that bad after the first day. When we first arrived there was dirt on the floor and several dead roaches on the floor throughout the house. There was clothes left in a dresser in the bedroom. There was no paper towels so we had to buy some. There was no laundry detergent so we had to buy some. There was nothing to scrub dishes with. We couldn’t find the towels so we assumed there wasn’t any and then when we did laundry we discovered all the towels were in the dryer. Most of the dishes were in the dishwasher and not put up. We went to make coffee with the keurig and there was a cup left in the machine. There was only 1 trash bag. It seemed like no one really cleaned the place and all that had been done was whatever the last guest had done so we were a little concerned about the cleanliness of everything and prayed the bed was at least clean. We didn’t see any live roaches until our last night. We were cooking and several appeared on the stove, table, and floor, we almost packed up and left then and there but we didn’t want to waste our money we paid. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and the place kind ruined it, we didn’t stay at the house very much thankfully though but we would have liked to have stayed and relaxed there.

11-28-2023 - We are so sorry to hear about the issues you had at our home. Paper towels, laundry soap, a clean sponge, trash bags and even complimentary Keurig cups are something that we do provide at the home. It is certainly not up to our standards that those things were not provided to you. As well, we would expect the towels to be folded and placed in the bathrooms and dishes put away. That will be addressed with the cleaning crew. We do routine pest spraying and our pest control company will be contacted immediately for a follow up call.
We certainly wish you had reached out during your 6-day stay to let us know that you were not completely satisfied and we would have done our best to rectify that as quickly as possible.
Update 11-29-2023 - Our pest control company has just visited the property and reported the house as “spotless.” They even pulled out the refrigerator and the stove noting no food debris or signs of roaches. Considering the timeline reporting of the guest and the condition of the home, the pest control company suggested the roaches (if ever present) were most likely carried in by the guest. A supplemental spray treatment was carried out in the house.
