Central and lovely
Great location just a 10 minute walk from the train station. Right in the centre of town just a couple of minutes from the cathedral. Bed was comfortable and bathroom clean with good shower. Breakfast was nice with a lovely setting in a cool bar area. Great hotel in a perfect spot.

Excellent Boutique Hotel in Old Town Freiburg
We had a fantastic stay at this boutique hotel in the heart of Old Town. We stepped out the door right into the Christmas market. The room was newly remodeled with modern furnishings. It was a decent size for Europe and very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and quiet. The bed was on the firm side. Good breakfast in the morning. Excellent, cozy bar with great service. The whole team was terrific. Since it was Christmas Market season, we opted to park in a public garage about 5 minutes walk away rather than the hotel's underground garage. The traffic was nuts, and we didn't want the hassle of navigating the car through the crowds. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Sehr gut mit einem kleinen "aber"
Mitten im Zentrum, sehr sauber, Bad mit genügend Abstellfläche und grosser Dusche, trotz Weihnachtsmarkt sehr ruhig das Frühstück war fein und toll, dass man bis 11.00 Uhr essen kann. Für ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse würde ich jedoch einen Kühlschrank und einen Wasserkocher erwarten. Und einen Aschenbecher vor dem Hotel, werfe den Stummel nicht gerne auf den Boden.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt
Es war "nicht so lala" sondern ganz toll, im Hotel am Rathaus zu übernachten und mit Freunden unvergessliche Stunden geniessen zu dürfen. Lage TOP, Infrastruktur TOP, Personal TOP, einzig mit der Anfahrt ins hoteleigene Parkhaus hat und das Navi einen Streich gespielt und uns etwas "auf Umwegen" ans Ziel geführt. Ab so oder so, wir werden bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal im Hotel am Rathaus zu Gast sein. Herzlichen Dank

Tolles zentrales neues Hotel
Neu renoviert und stilvolle Einrichtung, sehr schön gestaltet. Die Zimmer ausreichend groß, modern eingerichtet, Betten super bequem TV schön groß, Zimmer war mit Balkon Badezimmer neu, Regendusche Föhn vorhanden Frühstück war super, alles was das herz begehrt. Jedoch wurde man um Punkt 11 Uhr rausgekehrt. Um 10.50 Uhr hat ein netter Herr angekündigt, dass um 11 Uhr geschlossen wird. Ich kenne es so, dass dann das Buffett geschlossen ist und man noch in Ruhe zu ende frühstücken kann. Ich hatte noch ein Müsli und einen Saft, mir wurde gesagt ich müsse jetzt gehen. Auf mein entsetzes Gesicht, meinte der Küchenchef ich dürfte noch zu Ende essen. Aber meinem Mann wurde der Löffel zum umrühren seines Kaffees aus der Hand genommen und alles wurde ungemütlich weggeräumt. Kenne ich anders. Das war der einzige Minuspunkt. Sonst wirklich tolles kleines Hotel mitten in der Einkaufsstrasse. Kommen gerne wieder!!!

TOUT le personnel est très sympathique, aux petits soins. Le petit-déjeuner est varié, excellent...parfait. L'établissement est très propre. La situation est idéale et très proche de la gare. Cela sera notre pied à terre pour de futurs séjours à Fribourg-en-Brisgau.

Für einen Städtetrip eine super Lage mitten in der Altstadt. So kann man alles zu Fuß erreichen. Das Hotel ist noch neu, daher ist die Ausstattung der Zimmer in einem super Zustand und modern. Service beim Checkin kann noch optimiert werden, Personal wirkte bei größerem Aufkommen überfordert. Telefonisch leider kaum zu erreichen. Die Bar ist gemütlich mit einer guten Auswahl, auch hier müssen sich die Abläufe noch einspielen, gerade wenn die Bar voll besetzt ist. Gutes Frühstücksangebot mit reichlich Auswahl. Obwohl ein Wellnessbereich bei Expedia angegeben wird, verfügt das Hotel leider nicht darüber.
