The Villas are in a beautiful setting at the top of a large hill surrounded by woods. We were there in the winter so it wasn't very walkable, but you could definitely walk into French Lick from the Villas in good weather. Our condo was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and all the stuff needed for meal prep. Some of the decor was a bit outdated, but everything was in good shape. French Lick / West Baden is a hidden gem in southern Indiana, with lots of things to do any time of year. We'll definitely be back and would stay at the Villas again.

Convenient but needs major updates

Super convenient, lots of space and ideally a great deal. However, it smelled like cats so heavily in the carpet (which was at least 15-20yrs old). I feel if you're going to allow animals then it should be tile or hardwood. Absolutely loved the sauna in the bathroom and we all took advantage of that and the large jacuzzi tub. Loved the fireplace. Easy check in and parking. The beds were ages old and very uncomfortable. The couch pull-out was even worse! The sheets were centuries old, scratchy blankets except one. But it worked for the family.

We loved the loft overlooking the living room and fireplace, and the balconies on both levels. Lots of space for our family of six. Soft, cozy carpeting on the stairs and in both bedrooms. Large, open equipped kitchen. Hot tub and sauna in one bathroom. The ONLY thing we did not like was many of the lighting fixtures had harsh, bright white LED bulbs. We stuck to using only the ones with more comfortable warm tones. Otherwise we had a wonderful, carefree stay! Highly recommend.

Pool Broken,Lots of Stairs (pack light),LOVE Sauna

The pool was broken our entire stay, which was the entire reason we came to this property was for the indoor pool. If you stay here, pack light, you have to walk up very steep steps with everything in hand to get it to your place. Once the ice hit, the steps were very slick and even the sidewalk coming to it is at a slant, so it is very dangerous. The sauna is so hot and worked great! One member did catch an infection from the sauna, the nails in the wood burned her skin, rather dangerous. The green carpet around the tub could use some updating as it seems very worn. Overall decent place for likely a summer stay, but in the winter, it is cold, dangerous, and the pool being broken was more than disappointing.

Can’t stay there again.

The accommodation had steps and steep incline to get to front door Not suitable for 3 elderly ladies. Website doesn’t picture property properly. The beds were hard and very uncomfortable. BEWARE IF YOU ARE OLDER, HAVE DIFFICULTY WALKING OR CLIMBING STAIRS OR GET SHORT OF BREATH It was raining heavily and we didn’t go out to dinner because we couldn’t face the climb from parking area to front door which was behind the buildings. We were thankful we did not bring extra food to have to carry up.
