A beautiful relaxed setting

San Juan gem in the woods
Posted May 28, 2024 on HomeAwayHad a wonderful time over Memorial Day weekend, despite the cold and rainy weather.
The beds were super comfortable. We did not want for anything. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked, which was super helpful since we cooked all our meals at the house.
Great attention to detail with the ammenities in the bedrooms and bathrooms.
Even had two bald eagles hang out in the trees surrounding the deck for a bit.

Great way to recharge

Five Day Deep Dive Into SJI
Posted Feb. 26, 2024 on HomeAwayWe have visited SJI many times over the years but never as comfortably as this trip staying in Susan's property near Roche Harbor. It is spacious, up to date and the cleanest by far. From the bathrooms to the kitchen, it was very well supplied with high quality items. We were so comfortable and appreciative of the thoughtfulness of the hosts. Thank you!

Holiday Break
Posted Jan. 3, 2024 on HomeAwayWe arrived on Christmas Day and the house was nicely decorated. Not too much but still very festive. We enjoyed a little quiet time on the island and this was our second stay at this property and we thought the first visit was great, this was even better. There had been some updates to the dining room and the Adirondack chairs on the deck gave perfect seating for looking out at Spiden Island and the beautiful weather.

Rousch Harbor stay
Posted Dec. 17, 2023 on HomeAwayThe only thing we had an issue with was the single faucet handle on the master bedroom tub. This rental was very dog friendly and we were so very happy to be able to bring him with us.

Wonderful House and Location
Posted Nov. 29, 2023 on HomeAwayThis property was immaculate, and well laid-out. The location was excellent, very close to Roche Harbor. The picture window showing the nearby inlet was very nice. The internet was fast, which sometimes isn't the case on San Juan Island. Overall the property was excellent!
