We stayed at the Sunshine Suite which is separate from Tucker House Inn. Unit was clean and very cute. Beds were comfortable, but sofa bed was a little hard. Coffee pot was French press and we didn't know how to use it. Stairs were a little difficult as I have hip and knee issues.

Judith,Thank you for staying in our Sunshine Suite vacation rental. The Tucker House Inn has 18 units guest rooms, suites and cottages, many on the ground level. Next time please reach out to our team. They are happy to suggest the perfect unit for your traveling needs. We buy the best mattresses possible for our sleeper sofas. Unfortunately our sleeper sofa mattresses are not the same as our cozy feather top mattresses.We have traditional coffee makers if you would have preferred that to a French Press. The team is also standing by to provide a French Press lesson so you can brew the perfect cup of coffee. Please never hesitate to let us know if there is anything we may do while you are still on property to make your stay more comfortable. Great location, relaxing place, nice breakfast too

We found the folks at Tucker House to be really friendly and helpful. That combined with the stellar breakfasts made the stay really pleasant.
There’s areas for improvement in the condition of the property (at least the room we stayed in).
There is preserving historic charm and then there’s failing to keep things in good order. Our mattress was old and meaningfully indented in the middle, making me feel like a croissant throughout the night. The walls were meaningfully scuffed in areas.
I’d recommend staying here based on the service and breakfast however the quality of the room alone doesn’t justify the price of the property.

Unfortunately the breakfast was a bust all 3 days.
The accommodations were good though!

Everything is made in house from scratch using local seasonal ingredients and farm fresh eggs. We wish we would have known what you would have preferred for breakfast while you were still on property. We would have loved to accommodate your preferences.
