Tout est à disposition pour que votre séjour se déroule dans les meilleurs conditions. La communication avec Charles est très facile et il n'hésite pas à trouver une solution en cas de problème. Nous nous sentions comme à la maison. Merci pour cette magnifique maison

Wonderful Home

A gem on the edge of the island

This was an unfortunate situation. There were two Amy's booked back-to-back. The one that just gave us this single star review had only booked for one night at the end of the other Amy's stay. In the confusion, she thought she had two nights. We thought we were telling the other Amy that her extra night went through.
We were able to delay the next guest, who was running late anyway, by one day and work it out, but it was very confusing for all involved. Never happened before. This guest got the extra day she had not booked, and I refunded all her money for the whole stay. We fully understand the reviewer’s unhappiness, despite offers to put her up at our expense in another home, and despite actually refunding her entire visit. She left the place in utterly messy condition, but I chose not to give her a negative review. By faith, I can't return hurt for hurt. Besides, you never know what’s going on in another person’s life.
I stand by our nearly 100% 5-star reviews and our desire to make every stay a wonderful experience. It’s a magical place and we enjoy sharing it with so many every year. And I always try to be understanding, since life is a struggle for everyone.

Ideal secluded getaway

Home away from home
Publié le 18 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayA spectacular, private retreat on a gem of an island. Our stay was completely comfortable, we saw so many animals from the property, and our dog also had a blast. Plenty of home comforts, a fire pit, beach access, and lots to go explore and see. We’ll be back!

Nice private getaway

What a view!

It’s a very private, waterfront home looking out over the channel to Shaw Island, and a quick ten minute trip into Friday Harbor for essentials from King’s like the famous King Cookie! Can’t tell you how many of those we ate. It was a little chilly for us Floridians, but the radiant heat available throughout made it very comfy. Our host, Charles, was prompt with his replies, and the housekeeper, Michelle, was very sweet and available at a moment’s notice. Really, I’m almost hesitant to post this review because I want to keep this place our little secret. Oh well, cat’s out of the bag. 😂

Romantic Getaway

I had kayaked the San Juans 20 years ago with my son and his friends and always wanted to bring my husband. We explored all the wonderful places on the island and the weather was great. The kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed. Thank you for the opportunity to stay here!

The perfect oasis!

We loved sitting on the deck and down by the outdoor fire pits watching boats come and go. We even saw an orca! The house was very clean and decorated so cute! The kitchen had everything you needed to cook in and cozying up to a nice fire at the end of the day was lovely. Shower had great water pressure, bed was comfy, and wifi connection was great. Our pup sure loved hanging out here too! Owner was very responsive, helpful, and kind. We can't wait to be back!!
