My reply to the Gerhard family. I'm guessing you have written this review out of spite for the Internet going down during your stay. Unfortunately as I said in numerous emails there was absolutely nothing I could do until they reopened after the Xmas holidays. I kept you informed daily but as with everything on the island things don't move at the pace you are used to back in Germany, I spent hours trying to sort it out. You emailed me on Xmas day (not regarding wifi) in your email you made a long list of demands and critisms that was simply nonsense or picky at best that had zero impact on your stay. Example of just a few... 2 out of 30 jars of swartz spices have gone past best before date. (These are spices guests leave) Only 8 teaspoons No ladder only chairs to stand on! No blankets (untrue) Do you feel it was acceptable to send a nasty email on Xmas day? I personally stayed in the villa before your stay and take the time to make sure everything is perfect for our guests if its not I put it right. I could write page after page calling out things you have written in this review and numerous private emails. One thing I will check out is the fact that there are loads of cracks in the walls! Again absolute nonsense. I will be contacting vrbo to see if I can get this review taken down with full email proof from myself that what you claim is baseless. One other thing I will be taking up with vrbo is the fact you have taken our firestick. You had no reason or business removing this from our TV. I thought I would give you the benefit of the doubt of giving you a week to realise you had taken it back to Germany and contact me once you unpacked, you haven't so I have to take it for what it is. Any benefit you thought in taking it is short lived as the content has been wiped. The new guest has no TV until this is sorted. The money I was going to give you as a good will gesture for the Internet going down will now go toward replacing the firestick. My private review that vrbo ask for for all our guests is to help other villa owners decide whether to rent to you, my review will be containing the above details. Any future guests reading this I'm sorry if this comes across that I'm an angry man I'm not but the constant emails and posted lies has made me angry on this occasion.
