Stunning View and Fantastic Food

Publié le 4 janv. 2018 sur Expedia
Pour : The view is stunning. The food is plentiful and delicious, the supplied yukata is a good experience. The onsen is wonderful.
Contre : The food in the buffet is cold. You have to put used towels and trash bin yourself outside your room on days where the room is not cleaned.
Emplacement : Great location right beside the Ropeway. However, need to walk up incline to reach hotel. A bit far from train station on foot. Need to walk for food.
This hotel was my favourite experience in Japan. The most striking feature is the view of Lake Kawaguchi upon entering the room. The room is also spacious and you are supplied with a yukata to wear inside the hotel. This adds to the experience of immersing yourself in the culture. The whole hotel can only be navigated in the supplied house slippers (shoes left in lobby). The parts that stood out to me was the food we had for breakfast and dinner (half-board). I always left too full to move! The food was supplied to the table, but you could also grab food from the buffet. It was a feast. The onsen was also fantastic. However, I went when the hotel wasn't busy (December) so I always had the onsen to myself. The massage chairs and cold tea was a good touch. The staff are very friendly with sufficient English.

Great view of Lake Kawaguchiko

Publié le 9 nov. 2017 sur Hotels
Although the hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the Kawaguchiko Station, we could have taken the Red Line bus (covered by the passes) from the station to the Kawaguchiko rope way which shares the same ramp (the white building in the first photo is the hotel). The view from the hotel room is stunning (second photo). As in Hakone, you have to pay a 300 yen onset tax. The staff do not speak English well, but they were friendly and tried to help. If you ask them ahead of time, they can drive you to the Kawaguchiko station after you check out.

Publié le 14 mars 2017 sur Expedia
河口湖是欣賞富士山的一個極佳地方,讓人感到開心。此酒店平實,設施不算太新,但房間面積仍算寛敞。員工友善親切,房價包早餐,早餐食物不錯,可以接受,此次入住感覺是不錯的。
