Staff was helpful during checkin. For multiple days stay, rooms are cleaned every 3 days unless requested using sign posted on door before 9am. Skip breakfast at this hotel since the restaurant is small and can accomodate only a few people at one time.

This is a well located hotel. Easy access to Hakata station. We know rooms in general are small in Japan, but I found this one smaller than the norm especially when the bed is against 2...almost 3 walls and you have crawl out of bed when you are 2 guests. We arrived at the hotel around 9-10pm. There were issues with the check-in system, so a staff helped us. It was quite warm in the lobby, the elevator, and in the hallways. There were a few combini around/nearby so that was a plus. We had put do not disturb sign, and came back to a nice package of fresh towels, pjs, etc. That was a nice touch.

The staff were rude and unhelpful. Check in was slow and cumbersome as they insist that you use their slow automated machine which refuses to accept non Japanese addresses. The hotel refused point blank to book a taxi for me despite my early morning departure. The light switch on the bed head is broken and I almost electrocuted myself on the exposed wires. I did not feel able to raise this safety concern with staff given their lack of English and general unhelpful attitude. Other than that the room was as expected- small but very clean.

This was our first stop on a 5 stop trip throughout Tokyo and it did not dissapoint. I know APA is a big efficiency chain in Japan and because of that I assumed there would be a loss in quality but nope, everything was great from the room to the customer service! It's super close to the train station, has a mall down the road and is a short trip away from the rest of Kyushu. Some will complain that it's small but I'm from NY and have stayed in smaller rooms & apartments than this. It was perfect for the two of us so thank you APA!

Used this hotel as home base in Kyushu, 10 minute walk to Hakata station, 2 minute walk to main street. Basically where you need to be but without street noise😉 This hotel offers all the amenities you need as well as nice sized rooms. Will definitely return on my next Japan vacay.

Nice hotel. Room small by American standard but had everything you needed and more, meticulously packed. Only confusing part.. there are 4 or 5 APA hotels that look identical within 5-10mins walking distance, so make sure you go to the right one.

浴室の蛇口付近の滑り汚れが少し気になりました。 あとは全然良かったです。博多駅はすぐそこだし、 歩いて10分ちょいで中洲にも歩いていけます。
