I’ve never stayed anywhere that you’re expected to wash and dry all the towels and linens before leaving. With a checkout time of 10::00 SHARP, this was impossible. I wasn’t going to get up @ 7:00 just to wash linens.
The yard needed attention. Leaves were piled high and it was rainy, and the terrain is uneven. This caused the grounds to be very slippery. The steps into the cabin need something to keep them from being slick as glass. Just be aware if you have any issues walking and/or are a senior.
It took us over an hour to get in. We arrived after dark, there was no light and the instructions to get the key were not made clear, and it took quite a while to get someone on the phone.
The cabin itself was fine except for the swarms of mosquitoes. Even though it’s located on the lake, there could be some traps or bug zappers for the mosquitoes.
It would be nice if part of the deck were covered for rainy days. We were pretty much stuck inside.
The Wi-Fi is iffy at best.
The kitchen is well stocked, the shower to the master bedroom is very nice and safe.
The master bed is comfy, with good pillows.
The view of the lake is nice, even though the neighbors are only an arms length away.
The neighbors dogs run free. They are friendly but poop everywhere which isn’t easy to spot with the heavy canopy of leaves.
Anything you may need is very close, it’s a nice little community.
