This is our 3rd time staying at Rough Cut Lodge, first time in this suite. We love the quietness of the area. We enjoy the small kitchen with all we could need to make meals while staying there. The rooms are beautiful and have many amenities that make it feel like home. We enjoy being able to stay connected with WIFI and some television to occupy our boys if needed. Michelle is a phenomenal person to work with and talk to about your booking. We have already booked a different suite for January!

We couldn’t find Suite 7 at first then realized it was across the road. The suite itself was adorable but was right on a busy road with relentless truck traffic. We couldn’t even converse when sitting on the porch, it was so loud. If we stay again we would request to be on the main campus across the road with a little buffer from the road noise.

Great place, close to cherry brook park for star watching. Very friendly staff. Fyi you will have to pay for linens and check out is 10am, you can pay extra for a 1pm check out. The tv in the family suite was having a technical issue, so it was kinda of a bummer when travelling w a tween. Other than that, definitely reccomend and we will be back.

Very very clean place! Super nice, cozy, updated, comfortable beds.
I read reviews first so I had no surprises about extra fees for linens, and traffic noise.
I did expect to have an actual cabin that was a separate building rather than a place that was connected but it was quiet so that’s what mattered.
Would stay again- nice place.

The Rough Cut Lodge is perfect for a mountain getaway. We stayed in Suite 5 and it was SPOTLESS!! The suite has 2 bedrooms, a complete kitchen, stocked bathroom and a living room complete with a TV and a fireplace. The owner Michelle was very pleasant to speak with and let us know about the new jacuzzis on site. Wished we would have stayed longer. I HIGHLY recommend staying at Rough Cut Lodge!! Perfection in every way!

Very clean and well-appointed lodge
Publié le 9 août 2024 sur HotelsI stayed at Rough Cut Lodge for three nights with my dog to do stargazing at Cherry Springs State Park and visit the PA Grand Canyon. Rough Cut Lodge was a great choice. I had suite 7. It was amazingly clean and had all the amenities that I needed. This unit, along with 8, 9, and 10 are on the other side of Rt 6 from the main property, which is where the hot tub and playground are located. There is also a large lawn area on that side that borders the Pine Creek - and turned out to be a great place for stargazing. I really enjoyed my stay there and would certainly return if my travels take me to that area again. One more thing - the communication with management for check-in, etc., was excellent!

Susan,Thanks for sharing and for mailing me a copy of the photo you took. Very much appreciated! Believe it or not our staff review is low, sadly on this platform. We work really hard to make sure our jobs are done on the back side and before guests arrive. We are available when guests need us with a simple phone call to me. But when guests don’t see staff milling around I feel it hurts us. Our property is unique that guests feel at home and sightsee the area so when we are working on site they don’t always see us. We will all keep up the hard work to impress guests. Thanks for your review
