We had a wonderful stay on this beautiful property. The lodge was a fabulous fit for our family. The views we stunning and the wildlife was abundant. We will definitely stay again!

Very nice cabin

It’s a big beautiful cabin and we definitely enjoyed our stay! The one thing I would nitpick is the listing calls all the beds queen size when in fact they are doubles. This might go unnoticed by a couple, but 2 adult men who don’t want to be touching definitely do notice the difference between doubles and queens.

Thanks for staying at RCL. We do need to point out that this review is an error. All of the beds are in fact queen size. There are no doubles or fulls in the sycamore cabin. We have other properties and we know the difference between queen and full/double beds. I would however agree and not recommend that men or women who are not comfortable sharing a bed keep this in mind when booking. We want everyone to enjoy there stay and will always do our best to accurately describe our listings. Please reach out to our property manager with any questions for this listing or others.

Great Place to Stay

This is our second year staying at this location for a weekend getaway. The place is great, it has everything we needed and when we had an issue with heat the property manager was spot on. Always enjoy our stay here!

Better than expected!

Girls Weekend. Loved the main lodge with the fireplaces and gorgeous views of the creek. Made our rainout day pleasant. Planning on returning next year. Hopefully more ☀️

Super large family gathering place.

We had a very nice stay at the lodge. Great place for large family gathering. Oh course, everyone needs a family game organizer like we had - our daughter-in-law is the best. Lots of laughs.

Great place for a large family

There were 15 in our family who stayed very comfortably at the Rough Cut Lodge. We loved the large back porch and the kids had fun in Pine Creek! We did experience a lot of bugs when outside. Not sure what can be done about that.

Thanks for staying at the Sycamore cabin at Rough Cut Lodge. The home is perfect for large groups. Being along the creek comes with its positives and negatives. The bugs are not always that bad, however when Mother Nature puts off a hatch it can be bothersome to guests not used to being near a body of water.
