Visiting family
Publié le 8 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwaywe were very happy with Accommodations they were in a wonderful location in order to visit with our relatives only about 10-15 minutes away gorgeous setting nice set up. Only complaint would be the bed was very tall and there was no paper products but other than that it was everything was perfect.

Peaceful and spacious
Publié le 20 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved the cabin and surrounding areas. Gainesboro is a gem, with surprisingly good dining options for a small town! (And we were very happy To find an organic market).
A couple of things would have made our stay more comfortable. One: the wall AC, located in the living /dining area, was insufficient to cool the bedroom. We tried to cool the hot, stuffy bedroom by opening the back door and window, but unfortunately there was no screen on the sliding door. Two: the pull out couch in the living room was not usable, with springs nearly coming right through the mattress.
I did contact the host about these issues, but have not heard back. A portable AC in the bedroom would make sleeping more comfortable, and a new mattress would make the pull-out couch usable.
Otherwise, We did enjoy our 2 night stay.

Feedback from our guests is very important to us. We've added a portable a/c in the bedroom and now have a topper mattress for the sofa-bed.

Peaceful respite
