We loved the cabin and the property, extremely peaceful, surrounded by farmland, and water. The owner Glenda was easy to communicate with. We will definitely go back in the future.

Remote getaway
Posted Mar. 23, 2024 on HomeAwayThe two bedrooms with full size beds, two bathroom, queen size pull out couch, was perfect for my mother, my two children, my husband and myself! The space heaters worked nicely to keep us warm during the chilly days and nights. The beef cows right next to the cabin serenaded us one night, which was the only drawback! The next day we were able to feed one of the cows as well as the pony that was with them. We recommend an all-wheel drive or four-wheel drive to get up the gravel road to the cabin. This cabin is far from all amenities, so shop prior to arriving! LOL

Always a wonderful place to stay

Perfect country get away

Wonderful weekend in a rustic farm cabin
Posted Sep. 5, 2023 on HomeAwaySo happy we found this hidden gem. We are a family of four, including two young children. This cabin was perfect for a quick weekend getaway. The kids loved seeing the horses, goats, and dog on the other side of the fence. One goat in particular enjoyed being petted. We did hot dogs and s’mores at the fire pit I’m the evenings. We took a drive about ten minutes away to Wartrace Creek Park where we enjoyed swimming, fishing, and the playground. The only suggestion I would make for the owner is to replace the grill brush with a silicone brush. It was a wire brush that seemed old, and we were so worried about a wire coming off onto the grill and getting into our kids burger that we just didn’t bother brushing the grill at all.
