This property was very dirty. Our first room had ROACHES CRAWLING on the floor, a horrible mildew smell and there was urine on the bathroom wall clearly from a dog. We had to change rooms and again found roaches crawling all over the furniture of the room. It was down right HORRIFYING. Our last room the shower curtain rod was broken and you could not take a shower without getting water all over the floor. DIRTY, DIRTY, DIRTY Hotel. Please avoid.

My room was paid in full for two days before arrival. I arrived after 5 pm during a storm and the little guy refused to check me in because my credit card for incidentals was my husband's and not my own. I asked if I could pay the deposit with cash and he said no. I asked to speak with a manager and the little guy said no and pointed to a sign. I had to go and find another hotel even though this one was paid for in advance. I had never experienced this before especially since I could pay the deposit in cash.

Awesome hotel with friendly front desk staff. Super clean and all the utilities were included and made our stay comfortable. Would definitely come back here when I travel back to Gainesville.

Was only one night, concerns about asking for a 7:00am wake up call that I never received, killed two roaches in the bathroom that night and no one at the desk at 7:45am, I do realize that Gainesville was under a hurricane warning at that hour so that could have played into the check out, I would still stay on more trips that I am making over the next couple of months it seems to be a nice place to stay, I know that the hurricane warning probably had a lot to do with my stay.
