Avis Spacious home close to Florida University Campus

Absolutely does not look like the picture and someone was in the house when i got there. The host would not answer the phone. Had to pay $511 per night at a hotel because i drove 4 hours to get there. Needs to be taken off vrbo. Absolutely trash house.

Worst experience ever. House was filthy!! Cockroaches, broken floors, a to say the least dangerous picnic table with large nails ready to catch someone slipping because the wood is not attached. The yard had not been maintained in some time. I think the best is the 3 separate PILES of trash in around the house. Looks like a notice from the city about their trash as well. Whoever owns this property is a absentee owner. VRBO should be ashamed to have this house on their website. 3 piles of trash with swarming flies!!! Why do we pay a cleaning charge?? Pictures to prove as well. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!

Amenities in the listing for the property were not in the house at the time of rental, such as a microwave, tv and dishwasher. Soiled towels were left on the floor in the laundry room along with large trash bags preventing easy access to washer or dryer. Coffee pot, although new, was broken and unable to be used. Mini-blinds throughout much of the house were broken, preventing privacy inside house. Heat did not work, and rather than contact the owner at 9:30 pm to see if that could be fixed, we sought out a hotel for the rest of our stay as temperatures dropped into the 40s and 50s. Location was very convenient, but poor rental experience based on the items above. Contacted owner to seek resolution on inaccurate advertisement on the property and have not received response to date.
