Publié le 24 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved ‘our adventure house’ as the 5 year old calls it. Space for everyone of all ages! Love being near the pool! We ventured out this year to Chestnut Mtn and horseback riding. But the best was completing our annual puzzle and making smores. The memories will instill the love of family. Thank you so much!

It was great that it was in walking distance to the pool which was a hit with our small grandchildren. We would love to book again in the future.

Games galore
Publié le 25 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe love this home and all it had to offer! We had brought a few games we like to play but the house was stocked with fun games to enjoy from board games to pool to “skeeball”.
It is a great location to be able to walk to the pool and then get o all the courses.
We would definitely stay her again!

Lots of space to spread out.

It has a huge master bedroom suite and those watching tv in the living room did not bother conversations out on the porch, The game room seemed to go on forever and we had a lot of fun with the kids down there.
We only made smores one night so our outside time was limited mainly because the mosquitoes were pretty bad. There was so much to do inside though, I don't feel like we missed anything.
Whether it's firewood, beach towels,paper products or a whole cabinet full of spices, this was probably the best stocked house we've rented. We liked it a lot.

Family Reunion
Publié le 8 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family had a family reunion during the weekend of Galena’s annual Hot AiR Balloon festival. Every family booked their own lodging and met up at the festival. Our group consisted of myself, husband, our two sons (30 & 25), daughter-in-law, 3 yr old grandson and 9 month old granddaughter. This house was wonderful. Had no complaint from any anyone. Super clean, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. Plenty of seating space. Downstairs game rooms were a huge hit with everyone as it did rain all day Saturday so we really didn’t venture out other than to have lunch with the relatives at the Highland Restaurant. Plenty of room for everyone. Were able to spend Sunday at the Owners Club pool with the other relatives, we were able to just walk across the street to the pool which was really nice. My grandson told his Grandpa and I he thought it was the best house to play in with his family and he wanted to stay there again next vacation. No complaints and everyone enjoyed themselves. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in Galena again.
