Charming 3BR / 3BA With Hot Tub, Fireplace & Pool Table

Charming and cozy, Trail’s End is uniquely positioned in one of the most beautiful corners of the Galena Territory. It is a perfect spot to quietly reflect or celebrate any and every occasion with family or friends. Enjoy a wooded view off the back deck while delighting in a glass of wine. Wildlife abounds! From every vantage point you can often see deer strolling through or wild turkey stopping by for a snack. Colorful birds of many types are impossible to miss in the trees and as they dine from the feeder!

Our comfortable home features 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths each located on a separate floor perfect for evening privacy. The main floor offers a bedroom (with queen bed) and bath, comfortable gathering area with an inviting stone fireplace, sunroom, and kitchen and dining area. The large outdoor deck is the perfect place to begin to unwind and start your visit. The upper level features a private bedroom (with a queen bed) and bath suite. The lower level hosts the third bedroom (with a king bed) and bath along with a regulation pool table, satellite TV, stereo, and entrance to the screened-in porch and hot tub. What better way to soothe yourself after a long day of activities or sightseeing?!

If it is sports you are looking for you don’t have to go very far! The Galena Territory offers the best golf in the state if Illinois! Rather be fishing? No problem, Lake Galena is only a short drive through the spectacular scenery of the Territory. You can rent a boat and be reeling them in within minutes! If you prefer hiking, horseback riding, swimming, tennis, volleyball, basketball, hot air ballooning, star gazing, or any number of other exciting activities you won’t have to go very far!

The historic town of Galena offers even more golf, downhill skiing and snowboarding, luge rides, historical tours and moped tours, wining and dining, antiquing and boutiquing, spa experiences, sightseeing trolley rides, museums, and the list goes on…

The Whole Package
This is a stunning cottage in the woods. The house is spotless, well-stocked and very comfortable. Three bedrooms on three floors means everyone has their own space. And then the eat-in kitchen, fireplace, pool table and hot tub bring everyone together. Thank you, Ginger!

We rented this place so our kids and grandbaby could all be together to celebrate Thanksgiving. We played games, pool, used hottub, and enjoyed every area of the beautiful home. It was clean and perfect for us.

Great secluded property!
The house was exactly what we were looking for including a hot tub. Arrived at the house and got situated. When I checked the hot tub, it was already on and at temp. I've been in a few rentals where the hot tub was off and took almost a full day to heat up. Kudos to Ginger. Ginger & I traded messages and we talked so she could share all the info necessary to ensure our stay was successful. Even during the stay she was super responsive. She even followed up after our stay to say we had forgotten something. She worked out a way to get it back to us! Fully recommend!!!

2nd Time is a Charm
This is the 2nd year in a row we stayed at this charming cottage. Ginger is so accommodating as always. This time, we had an issue with the washing machine not working in the a.m. By 11:30, Ginger had the repair guy show up and he fixed it! With the hot tub, pool, and many showers to be had, we needed the washing machine and she made sure it happened! The house is so comfortable and clean. So close to town and things to do in the area. My kids (and their friends) and I love it there!

Wow -- Wish we could've stayed longer
To say nothing of the beautifully appointed and decorated home, our Host thought of everything. We were in Galena for a wedding and brought the grooms elderly grandparents who took the first floor bedroom outfitted with a queen-sized bed, my husband and I took the lower level with the oh-so-comfortable king and our daughter and SIL took the upstairs queen. The decks and grounds are lovely and really worked to re-energize our souls. Whole-heartedly thrilled with our accommodations. We couldn't have asked for more -- thank you, Ginger!

Awesome property
We loved everything about the property. It was very clean with everything provided that we could possibly need. The location was secluded but close enough to the resort, restaurants and the owners club (which we could access with the provided access cards). We loved sitting on the back porch. We loved the whirlpool which we used to wind down at the end of every night. We are looking forward to renting the property again in the future.
