The only thing we would suggest is to leave instructions for the TV remotes. As we were all in our 70's and had no grandchildren to guide us, we found navigation of the remote quite unfriendly. We would definitely recommend this property to friends.

Fine house with space for many
Publié le 1 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe listing was overall as advertised, a basic house with basic furnishings that house a group well. We had a family holiday here, and the space worked well for that. Everyone got to be in the same building but could find their own space. The place is overall pretty dated, and could use plenty of fixes, but again that's probably fine for a multi-family gathering. The trash system and lack of recycling are real bummers for hosting a large group. Oh and the WiFi was basically unusable for 80% of the time, so plan on a real unconnected getaway.
Access to the Owners Club is nice plus, served as a great outlet and another space to use. Access was easy and we enjoyed all ameneties - game room, fitness center, pool, basketball court.

Daniel is right; this home is an amazing value. It's a great size, and the location can't be beat. Our pictures are current and we are very transparent with the current condition of the home and how it is furnished - no surprised. We are at the mercy of what the area will allow in regard to trash disposal. We provide 2 cans, the cleaning fee includes removal of those 2 cans when full. We ask that if you have more you just drop off at one of the 2 convenient sites, you can recycle there too. We never heard from anyone in his party about the wifi until they checked out. We can assist during your stay if you reach out - we provide a number you can text or call ANY time. Oh and the Owner's Club does rock!

Overall good but not great
Publié le 28 oct. 2024 sur HomeAway1. There were no directions to operate the TV’s. I messaged someone with no response. We are college football fans and we were disappointed to not be able to watch the game on the TV.
2. No outside light to deck where the grill is.
3. Mice in basement that disrupted sleep. They were in the vents.

We sure wish Karen would have reached out sometime during her stay. Our direct number is posted in the kitchen and the binder and shared in all emails. It is different from the 800 number you use to book the home. Karen did use the mobile app to check out; you can even use the app to report an issue. We would have loved to have helped with the TVs (there are multiple), and they are standard operation with one or two clicks on the remote. The home has pest control, and our technician has reported no evidence of mice. They could have heard a bird or a squirrel on the exterior. Cinnabar is a large, value home that gives our guests great space to make their memories. Dear Future Guests, please call or text us for help, we respond almost immediately in most cases.

Wedding
Publié le 30 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful time staying at this property! We were in Galena for my sisters wedding. The property was clean and comfortable for all of us!! There was six of us ladies who stayed and we spent a majority of our time around the big dining room table talking about the weekend events. Definitely a five star stay!!

It was okay

However, when we took the stopper out of the drain the sink, bugs immediately came up out of the sink into the kitchen. The garbage disposal didn’t work until we found a reset switch. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table. Overall, it was fine. Just a couple things that weren’t ideal.

Awesome place for a group
