Amazing

Property was amazing! You get what you see! My family enjoyed tons of laughs in a very comfortable cabin! The only downfall which had nothing to do with the property but with the location, there was only one port that took over 3 hours to charge my electric vehicle only to about 50% other than this my entire trip was so enjoyable!

Amazing Place and Location!

We loved our stay this weekend! The cabin was ride down the road from the ski hill, and perfect setup for our family!! Beautifully decorated, rustic feel, clean and comfortable beds!! Fabulous communication!!

Everything as described. Mornings and late evenings we got to enjoy numerous deer from the living room window. Very well secluded yet it’s just a short 10 min drive into Galena.

Bachelorette weekend

The cabin was absolutely amazing! We had 7 people staying there and it was perfect. The views from the back patio were stunning. Host was very easy to contact to ask any questions. Would definitely stay here again. The only thing was the driveway was a little hard to see when first driving in.

The cabin is Beautiful and well kept The place is very peaceful with beautiful views We enjoy our stay almost 100% but……… The only thing that went wrong was when we attempted to use the gas grill we weren’t able to, it was beyond dirty, rusted and found mice inside the grill.

Recharge your batteries! Modern Cabin! Bring your quarters as the games aren’t free.

If your looking for a modern, yet rustic cabin then this is it! This cabin is secluded, yet still close enough to shopping and the grocery. I was disappointed that the games require you to pay almost a dollar to use them. Would rather they just increase the fee and not charge to use the machines or take them out as kids can go thru some quarters when it’s almost a dollar a game. It’s a pain to run to the store and get more change. Had to run to two different stores and then to a bank as the stores don’t have change to exchange for dollars. If the owners would supply the change then the cabin would be a 10!

Cabin in the woods! Beautiful

This is a beautiful home, comfortable and plenty of space. Very clean and everything you need. Location is perfect, half way between downtown Galena and Chestnut Mountain. The patio and fire pit, great space for games and smores. The owners were very responsive to our questions. I would highly recommend this property. We'll be back!

Galena Golf Getaway

This property was quite amazing for a group who golfed and then relaxed. The house is incredibly well built and kept. The property itself is secluded. Finding the actual house took a little work but nothing too hard. Everything was in good working order with exception of the ice maker and water dispenser from the fridge. No big deal. We look forward to considering the property next year again.

Excellent cabin in the best location

Super-clean cabin with incredible views. The location is just perfect. Ten minutes to town in one direction or ten minutes to hiking or Orchard Landing in the other. The arcade games were a blast for the kids and adults alike. We look forward to returning again.

Absolutely AMAZING

My husband and I stayed here for a quick fall getaway to Galena & were stunned by this property This cabin was even better than pictured and that says alot because the pictures are beautiful. If you like privacy and are ok being just a few miles from town book then I suggest that you book this place now. I simply do not have enough adjectives to describe how wonderful this cabin is!

More Than I Imagined!!!!!!

My family stayed in this AMAZING Cabin for 3 nights. Privacy on many acres of land with the convenience to adorable Galena, Dubuque and Field of Dreams. They thought of everything to accommodate guests! Great communication with the property manager throughout the stay! Thanks for the Memories!!!!

Stop searching, you've found the place!

This place is amazing!! The home/cabin itself is spectacular. The view into the valley is beautiful. Even the sugar beet field is a nice touch (for the deer and turkey). The open floor plan and huge fireplace set beside an incredible three story view is just stunning. The bedrooms were well appointed with two large king bedrooms and a kid room with 4 giant built in bunks for the kids...the bunk mattresses were huge and kids felt like they were living in a tree house! Plus the place has a beautiful wrap-around deck and fire pit on the back patio. We prepared most of meals on the grill and in the kitchen. The brand new Samsung appliances were great. Plus, we enjoyed some family time trying to become the hunting hero of Big Buck Hunter and an NBA all star on the ESPN homecourt basketball game. This is a great place to enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee while watching the wild life (we saw deer and turkey every day). We are already looking at dates to return when Chestnut Mountain has snow and maybe even next summer. Cyndi was very helpful and easy to work with. The place was immaculately clean upon arrival. The only trouble we had was finding place because we arrived as night. So, finding this secluded paradise was difficult through the thick timber and narrow lane. Either a simple welcome sign or leaving a light on the deck would be helpful for guests arriving at night. But Cyndi was very helpful with directions and once we arrived, we didn't want to leave so we extended our trip by an extra day. Seriously, stop searching...you've found the place you're looking for!
