DIRECT ENVIRONMENT
There are lots of fun things to see and do around the lake and in the woods. There are activities for all ages in each of the four seasons!
In the summer it is wonderful to explore the forests and hills. You can follow the many paths both on foot and by mountain bike. One of the walks can lead you to the wind cabin where you can pause by a wood fire. After a long walk you can take a refreshing dip in the lake or take the rowing boat for a relaxing trip on the lake. Then don't forget to bring a fishing rod and try to catch a nice fish for dinner. When you return you can make a fire in the fire pit. Grill sausages or barbecue your just caught fish on the fire while the sun sinks behind the hills. Enjoy the starry sky from the terrace of the cottage before you go to bed, on clear nights the entire galaxy will unfold before your eyes!
In autumn the leaves change color and add spectacular yellow and red hues to the wooded landscape. Walking and boating offer a picturesque view of the change of season. Many different types of berries are ripe for picking on the hills surrounding the huts. The moose hunting season also starts in the first week of September. When discussed in advance, it is possible to follow the hunters during the hunt. Enjoy the day's adventures with a hot glass of mulled wine!
In the winter and the beginning of spring the land is covered with a thick layer of snow. When you go cross-country skiing or hiking with snowshoes in the quiet white forests, you can just come across the possibility of a reindeer or a moose.
On the lake you can learn the art of ice fishing, it is an experience that every fisherman must have had once. And when, tired of all activities, you sit down at the campfire to warm up again, the northern lights can suddenly illuminate the night sky over the hills with a great light show.
